"Babe, are you ready?" I yell upstairs.
"Yeah, I'm coming!"
A few seconds later he runs downstairs.
"What were you doing?"
"You know, cleaning up a little. Stefan doesn't have to know what we did over there."
He smirks, I smile.
"Elena, can we please agree to not telling Stefan about the note dad left? I don't think he needs to know."
"Sure."
I kiss him.
"Come on, let's go."
We take his car and drive back to the motel, we're going to tell Stefan that they can go back home, and than we're actually going back there. This song comes up and Damon obviously loves it, because he turns up the volume and starts to sing quietly.
"Country roads, take me home..." It sounds so cute, I've never heard him sing before. I look at him and can't help but smile.
"You look happy."
He looks at me real quick, because he's driving.
"Maybe because I am happy."
I give him a quick kiss on his cheek. Than we arrive at the motel, ready to tell Stefan the bad news that also has something good in it... I hold Damon's arm and he opens the door. Stefan's standing in the room.
"Where were you? I called you like 1000 times."
"We went home to pick up some stuff. I forgot to bring my phone."
"Why did it take so long? And I don't see you having any stuff with you?"
Damon and I look at each other.
"Dad's gone..."
"What do you mean he's gone?"
"He left again."
"He just left? He didn't leave anything?"
"Nope, but all his stuff are gone and he wasn't there."
"Okay, so does that mean we can go back?"
"Yes. We can go back home."
"Well, at least that's great. I'll call Cassidy and ask her if she meets us there."
We take all the stuff and drive back to their house. Cassidy is already waiting.
"Hii guys!" She walks over to Stefan and kisses him.
"It's good you're home again."
"Yeah." Stefan answers. They walk inside together. Damon and I take the stuff out of the car. He leans over me and whispers in my ear.
"Stefan is having a hard time with this. I think it's better if only we know about that note. Don't tell Cassidy." He gives me a kiss on my cheek and than walks inside. I walk inside after him. We put the stuff back in their places, not that it's a lot, it only takes a few minutes. I meet Cassidy in the hallway. She comes over to me and almost whispers.
"Stefan told me you were here with Damon all night to 'pick up some stuff'. That's not what you were doing, was it?"
I look at her.
"Oh come on, I know what you've been doing. And I'm sure it wasn't the first time."
I raise my eyebrows. How does she know this?
"I knew it! Seriously, when we go back, you need to tell me everything." I'm still a little shocked that she found out, but I laugh. This is typical Cassidy. We order pizza and go to the pool table.
"I've missed this." Damon says.
"Me too." Stefan answers.
Than I notice one of my socks is on the pool table, that's why I couldn't find it this morning! Stefan sees it too.
"What is this thing doing here?" He looks at us and Cassidy starts to laugh.
"So dad leaves and this is what you're doing? And seriously, on the pool table?"
Damon and I look at each other and at the same time we look back at Stefan. Busted.
"Oh my god, look at your face, so proud." He slaps his brother on the shoulder. Than the pizza's arrive and we eat.
"So, I'm glad that we all made up to each other." Stefan says. We all smile and nod. The rest of the night we just enjoy each other's company. It's good to have these people around me, it makes me really happy. When the night is over, Cassidy and I leave together. We kiss our boyfriends goodbye and step into the car.
"So Lenaaa, now tell me, was it good?"
I feel kinda awkward talking about this, but if there's one person I want to tell this to, it's my best friend. I'm not going to tell her any details, though.
"Yes. I enjoyed it and I'm just going to say this, it was even better than I thought."
I shyly smile.
"My little girl is getting matureeeee." We laugh.
"I'm really happy to see you like this."
I look at her. This comes right out of her heart.
"Thankyou. Cas, I love you. When we get out of this car I'm going to hug you."
"Wait, why did you leave your car at their place?"
"Damon's picking me up from school tomorrow. I'll take it back after."
"Oooh, do you have a date?"
"Sort of."
"Oh my god. You go girl."
She drops me off at home, and I hug her like I promised. Than we say goodbye, we're going to see each other again tomorrow.
