Here you go! So I changed the cover of the book, and I like it. Let me know what you think? And also, there will be more Zander in the next chapters. I just have to set up the plot:)

*•*•*•*•*•*•*•*

"Okay. So let me get this straight. Your mother got possessed and tried to kill you but Gattaca came and saved the day." Fiona said as she dipped a fry into some barbecue sauce.

"Exactly." I said as I grabbed one of the fries from the middle of the table.

"And then you snuck out of the house not wanting to see your mom" she said again as she took a sip from her in-n-out drink.

We were currently at In-N-Out sharing a plate of fries.

"An now I'm here." I said as I shoved more fries in my mouth.

"YOU POOR THING!" She yelled. People in the fast food restaurant all looked at her. "Oops. My bad"

I chuckled at her as I played with the straw in my drink. "Yah, well I have no idea what to do. I don't know if I can see my moms face without seeing those creepy red eyes" I shuddered at the thought.

"It's ok. You can spend the night at my house" she said as her phone began to ring. She held up her finger indicating that she would be a moment. She stood up and left.

I starting humming a tune when someone sat down across from me.

"Uhm sorry that seats taken." I said as I looked up.

        Oh dear.

"Rebecca. What can I do for you?" I said sarcastically.

"I just came here to have a little chat." She said with a fake smile as she flipped her blonde hair over her shoulder. "Just because your all over the news, don't think for one second that your cool. Because your not"

        I raised my eyebrow.

"Go away." I said rolling my eyes and throwing a French fry at her. But I forgot it had ranch on it. It landed on her very expensive looking shirt.

"OMG" she screamed standing up. She looked at her her shirt that had ranch dressing on it. "OMG OMG OMG OMG" she sounded like a little kid throwing a tantrum.

I laughed a little but then she looked at me, so I used a fake cough to cover it up. "...my bad" I said.

"Your bad?! YOUR BAD?! Do you know how much this shirt this? OMG you little-" she squealed.

"Rebecca, we are at a public place" I said. "Little kids could hear!"

She rolled her eyes and came up to face.

"Listen here you little crap ball. Don't think for one moment that your pretty or smart. Cuz you aren't. And Zander will never go for you. Your a betch."

{a/n: so I don't swear, so don't expect swear words in the book. I might squeeze in a couple here and there but I'm strongly against it :) so im probably going to use the knock off swear words like crap and such lol}.

Ouch. That stung. I flinched mentally when she said that. I mean, obviously I don't take that to heart but words can be cruel. 'Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me' uhm no. This is bull.

She smirked, obviously pleased with my reaction and walked away. As if on cue, Fiona walked in and sat down.

"So hey, I've got to go pick up some groceries for my mom, so I'll meet you at my place, k?" She asked as she grabbed her drink.
