There was so much happening in our Law classes. Task after task. Test after test. Wow, I was overwhelmed by it all!
"Sam, hey." Selena stopped me. "We still have to finish that task. It's due pretty soon and we aren't exactly far enough."
"That's true. You keep procrastinating." I said.
"Oh hell no." she laughed.Selena is really gorgeous and she's a very cool friend to have. My girlfriend doesn't like her. Typical.
"So how about...?" I asked.
"Well, tomorrow sounds fine. I'm not leaving for the weekend. Are you?" she asked.
"No, I'm not." I told her.
"Well then it's a date, see you tomorrow. I shall call you." she said.
"Sure."So, I was definitely not going home this weekend.
I went back to res when I saw my phone light up on my bed. I thought it was Selena probably wanting to start with everything but it was Courtney. She wanted to tell me about how she's been feeling.
"I'm telling you. I've been sick. Can't figure out what's wrong babe."
"You don't think you're pregnant, do you?" I asked.
"No. I can't be."
"Well just take a test to be sure, you know."
"Okay and let's say I am. I don't believe I am but let's say I am."That question had me in shock. What if she really was? I wasn't ready for this. I'm not ready to be anyone's father. Her question freaked me out.
I sighed.
"We aren't ready. I'm not ready."
"Yeah, I agree too. Well I will take it tomorrow and let you know. We'll talk.
"Sure, bye."
"Bye."That was one hell of a conversation but I'm glad she made the right decision.
She sent me an image of the pregnancy box she bought. Seeing that box made my heart skip beats. It was nerve wrecking. This wasn't how my life was supposed to turn out at all.
