Lizelle and I made up. It took a while but nothing a few kisses wouldn't fix. She never asked me to delete Courntey's number. I know Courtney would have flipped and deleted any suspicious number herself. Crazy one she is.
It was golf day. My family was coming over. They still weren't aware that Lizelle is my girlfriend but I was hoping today would make it obvious.
"I hope your mom likes me." she said.
"Well. Who wouldn't?"
"I don't know..."I could sense she wanted to mention Courtney but avoided the topic.
"So has your family met any girl before me?"
"Well Uhm...no, actually."
"Oh okay. So I will be the first? Hope I'm the last."
"I come from a strict family. They wouldn't tolerate different girls coming in and out."The actual truth is my sister knew about Courtney and the baby. She just didn't like Courtney for reasons unknown. We vowed to keep it between us and not tell anyone in the family.
I stared at how sexy Lizelle looked in that short skirt and golf shirt.
"Are you ready babe?" she asked.
"Yeah, sure."
"Get that gaze off your face." she smirked.
"Make me." I smirked back.
"Let's go, Sam." she smiled.
"Can you blame me? Look at you!" I stood up.We met my family on the course.
"Samuel! My boy! It's good to see you." my dad said loudly!
"Hey mom. Hey dad."
"Son, how are you?" Mom asked.
"Well thanks. Hey sis."
"Hey, bum. How are you?"
"I'm good."
My sister's name is Rejoice."And who is this?" Rejoice asked with a smile on her face.
"Oh oh. Mom, dad...Rejoice. This is Lizelle."
"Hi, Lizelle what a pleasure to meet you." mom smiled.
"Lovely to meet you too, Mrs. Rodgers."
"Oh you're too modest. I'm Lizzie."
"Ow nice" Lizelle said.
My father didn't really interact too much with Lizelle in the beginning."So, shall we?" asked Rejoice.
We were ready to get rumbling.
Later that evening we went down to the hotel's restaurant for dinner. We did smell of heat but it had really been a long fun day and we were starving.
"And remember when I almost hit your personal space" Lizelle laughed.
"That wasn't funny Lizelle." I groaned.
"Haha, you should have seen your face." Rejoice joined in.My mother took a sip of wine before dropping the question.
"So, Lizelle do you and my son here work together or?"
"Well...Uhm...actually we do." she looked at me seeking approval.
"Nice. Where did you meet? At work or?"
"We've been friends from way back in varsity."
"Oh that's lovely."My family seemed to like her. I was in love with her and my difficult sister approved of her. Maybe I should just make it official and marry Lizelle.
