White was moving today and I couldn't help him move into his new business complex but he knows I was with him in spirit.
I arrived home at my usual time but Lizelle wasn't home. That was strange but knowing her she could have went anywhere.
I was really exhausted so I took a shower and went to bed.
I was woken by her walking into the bedroom. The sun was still out but I wondered why she wasn't home before me.
"I went to a friend." she said.
"Oh okay but I hadn't asked you."
"I knew you would."
"Oh okay." I went back to sleep. She went down to watch Television.
It was around 8pm when my phone lit from a text message. I didn't want to open it, so I took one peak with one and saw her name. Courtney. I wondered if Mitch was okay this time and I also wondered what she wanted.
I read her text message "We need to meet tomorrow."
Confused, I sat up in my bed with the phone in my hand. Lizelle walked in also confused that I was awake.
"I thought you were..."
"I was. My client just sent me a shocking text."
"What is it? Is everything okay? Let me see."
"Don't worry about it. I deleted it. You go on. Let me sleep."I waited for Lizelle to walk out of the bedroom. I walked into our bathroom and decided to call Courtney.
"Hello?"
"Uhm...hey...Court."
"Yeah?"
"I got your message."
"Oh yes. Uhm."
"Where are we meeting?"
"Just at the coffee shop. That should do.
"Alright. See you tomorrow.""Samuel? Baby?" I heard Lizelle's footsteps.
She walked in on me just as I was going to put my phone away.
"What are you doing?"
"Nothing." I didn't know how to get out of this one, so I literally walked out and went to the bed to catch some sleep. What did Courtney want? I kept wondering.
