Lizelle and I were out for the night. She was wearing a beautiful short red dress with sneakers. Her thick hair had a cute floral band around it. Her lipstick was matching her dress. It was beautiful.
"So what are your plans?" she asked.
"Plans!" I choked.
"Yup...with us graduating and all. I mean we won't be in varsity anymore."
"Haha well. I will be starting at this one firm. I told you this."
"No, you didn't." she insisted.
"I did and we realized we'd be working at different law firms."
"Oh yes, actually." she remembered.
"Yeah..."
"So...what happens to us? I mean we aren't even from the same province." she said.
"It's not a trainsmash. I will still see you. I mean I will be able to afford travelling that distance every weekend. You know."
"Yeah...same. We could always have a mutual meeting spot. Or spend weekends in hotels?" she suggested.
"Sounds good."She looked down like she was expecting me to say something. I was hoping she wouldn't mention marriage because she knew it wasn't my scene and she always said she didn't want it.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing. Something just seems off. I have a feeling that something is happening."
I lifted her chin with my finger.
"What something?" I asked her.
"I don't know man. Like something important is happening and you're not attending to it."
"Nonsense babe. When you met me what did tell you?" I said.
"You're an average guy. No responsibilities?"
"Exactly just trust me. Alright?"
"Okay."She put up my favourite smile. We looked at the stars above us then looked into each other's eyes.
"Maybe we should...get going?" I suggested.
"Sure. We should."We stood up and went back to res. I had not went home because I wanted to see more of her before we officially left.
Not everybody had gone home but King was gone already.
When we walked into my room. I wanted her but something was so off about her this evening. She was tense.
I held her hand and turned the lights low.
She smelled amazing and felt amazing. Holding her was everything. I was staring into Lizelle's eyes when my phone lit up. I looked at it, it was Courntey.
"Damn Courtney." I thought to myself.
I rejected her phone call and put my attention back to Lizelle.
"who was that?" she asked.
and before I could lie to her she groaned "ow!"It wasn't a pleasant grown. She was in pain.
My phone rung again and this time I pinky just ignored it and threw it where we couldn't see or hear it."I have cramps, Samuel. I don't know what's wrong." she said.
"It should be fine. It's probably just your first time."
"It's not my first time. Something is wrong, Samuel. I'm serious."
I ignored her.She was bleeding a little bit and it was painful. She held on but on the 4th stroke she experienced the worst pain ever and I was forced to stop.
"Ow!! I kept telling you ow!" she cried and punched me.
"Are you okay?" I was getting worried.
"Samuel, can't you see something was wrong here?"
"I'm sorry babe."She calmed down and pulled me in to her chest.
"I didn't mean to yell at you but something strange was happening to me when we were making love. Almost like I was feeling someone else's pain.
"Come on baby. I don't know you to be like that. You will be okay. It will be okay. Now let me hug you and make you feel better."We never continued. I just comforted her until she fell asleep.
