Michaela was growing everyday. I could not stop looking at her. Realizing that I can't live without her made me wonder how my sister could be coping.
Thinking of my sister, she called me.
"Hey. Joyce. How are you sis?"
"I'm alright. It hurts....but I have to keep moving right?"
"Right. Want to come over?"
"Actually...no...I want to see Courtney."She caught me off guard and confused me because I had not seen Courtney in the longest time and I wasn't sure if that was a good idea.
"Is anything the matter?" I asked, curious.
"Bro. I treated Courtney really bad with your son. It's like I forgot he is my blood too. I just want to see her. Although I can't really bring myself to apologize because of my guilty conscience, I realized that the least I can do is show remorse for my actions. God gave us a beautiful nephew, Mitchell but we threw him and his mother under the bus. Now look at me wishing to have my child back. What I wouldn't give to have my child back to play with Mitchell."She stunned me but I didn't stop her.
"Sis. If it feels right for you. Do it. You know where she lives."
"Yeah."
