"In other news. There has been a noticeable increase in cargo lordosis being attacked in high ways accompanied by a serge in Tony Stark Iron Man suits being sighted about the city. Although it comes out as a shock to some Tony Stark informs the public that there is nothing to worry about."

Peter wasn't really listening to the news much as he munched on his cereal. To blessed outgrow yesterday's events to even notice his idol/annoying surrogate father being announced on the morning news. May was busy too wiping down the kitchen, looking in the tumble dryer and air racks for a decent top to wear.

"So have you got any plans for the weekend?" She asked out of the blue.

"May it's Tuesday."

"I know but I'm just curious. Do you have any plans?"

"Not really." Besides fighting crime "Why?"

"Well, I just thought you might have something planned." She smirked mischievously.

"No." He shook his head oblivious "nothing planned."

"Oh come on Peter, I thought you were smarter than that."

"What? I don't get what your saying May."

"I just thought maybe you'd be planning your first date."

Peter nearly choked on his breakfast.

"Date!?"

"Well yeah you know, not long after a couple get together they'll go on a date. Seeming though (Y/N) was the one to make the first love with the kiss, I figure you should make the next move."

Peter had been to caught up in the fact that he had girlfriend to even start thinking about a date!

"But don't panic Peter, there are no set rules. You do whatever you want when you feel like it."

Too late. He was panicking. And big time. On the way to school he decided to ask (Y/N) if she did want to go on a date, but first he needed to come up with a good idea.

Racking his brain he thought back to any date stories he had been told. He'd been told the story many times of how Uncle Ben whisked May from her strict parents, taking her to her first fair ground. They'd stayed all day and most of the night, May never having tried cotton candy before ate too much and felt sick the next day.

So a fair ground was a good idea but there wasn't one very close. His parents first date had been a walk in Central Park, trying the foods at various stalls. So he supposed that would be a good idea too. But then he also wanted to avoid cliches, and preferably do something that was fun for their inner geeks.

"Hello? Earth to Peter?"

Peter went cross eyed at the Lego figure being waved in his face.

"Morning Ned."

"Really? I call you from the corridor you don't even notice and all I get is a good morning."

"Sorry I was thinking about something."

"Was it (Y/N)?" He asked in a sing song voice.
