It was time for dinner, and Mari had recroted Yuri to keep me out of my room. When ever I tried to make a b line to my room he would call me over. Victor even realized his doing at one point and started helping. "You look so much like a child when you pout," Victor commented. Im not sure if it was an insult or a compliment.

"Maybe the hot spring is actually the fountain of youth," I hissed, trying to distract them so I could go back to my room befire Naomi came and forced me to eat. Too late, there she came. She looked udderly calm at the sight of Victor, but I knew she was screaming internally.

I groaned and slammed my head agaibst the table. "Don't do that, you already have enough brain damage," she told me, sitting down next to me. I turned my head a glared at her. Did she really need to say that. "Now eat," she told me, pointing to rhe plate of food infront of me. I forced a bite into my mouth.

"If I vomit I get to kick you in the shin," I told her.

"I take it you know Aki," Victor said to the middle aged woman. Yuri also came to listen, as he had never met Naomi.

"Oh, I'm her coach," Naomi said, like it was somethinf to be proud of, "I'm Naomi Yaguri." The two men looked surprised.

"You're going to skate again!?" the two yelled in synchronization. I was just getting more and more shippung fuel. I shrugged, forcing another bite into my mouth, aready feeling my stomache wanting to get rid of the few I already ate.

"Don't you dare be like that," the woman started scolding me in Japanese. "You lived with me for four years, and the only time I ever truly saw you smile was when you were on the ice. You can not give up that happiness. I get you think you don't deserve it, but you do. Everyone deserves to be happy Aki." She had forced me to look at her when she gave her spewle.

I pushed off her arms, abd brought my atention to rhe food I was beibg forced to eat. "I brought you something," she sang, dropping a familiar bag on my lap. It was a white bag, with black boarder and handles made of the fake leather, and had stickers speratically stuck on it. It was my skate bag, that I perpousfully left in Tokyo.

"The murder weapon," I joked. They all grew a bit tense. I don't get it, I can joke about it, why can't they. "Lighten up, I'm past it. Can't you move along."

"Mabey we can't because we care about you," Naomi said, gettibg pissed. Yeah it was obvious that I didn't care about myself. "Now open it up." She was getting pissed.

I grummbled as I dipped open the bag. I pulled out a pair of skates. They weren't my skates. They weren't the skates I used to try and kill myself. They were a slick white color, with a flexible soul, so I could move my foot easier. The laces were that of a rainbow, making them pop. The blades were in matching rainbow patterned protectors. I looked on the bottom where you would usually find the flag of the country the skater is from. On the left shoe was the flag of Japan, on the right way the Rainbow Flag of Pride.

"Look at the blades," Naomi whispered in my ear. I clicked off the protectors to find clear blades under them. They were made of plastic, I had had plastic blades before, they let me go faster and jump higher, but can only handel so much weight. She used to joke that it looked like I didn't even have blades on my skates sometimes, and I was just out dancing on the ice. Then in the plastic was carved lightning bolts, steming from the knickname of Raiu.

"How much did these cost?" I asked, in udder awe. The skates where beautiful. They were a lot like the skates I used when I completed, but they got ruined in the incident.

"Technically you bought them," she told me, bowing her head to my mom as she gave her a plate of food. I looked at her confused, as she picked up the chop sticks. "You've been paying me my coaching fees for tje past three years, when I haven't been doing anything. I emailed you about it, but you never did anything."

I stared down at my food, trying to think it through. I payed Naomi through direct deposit, spliting up her fees by months so she would get paid through out the year. Because of how much money I make from being Sarah Mei, and never using that money, I sorta forget about it. After the incident I moved back to Hasetsu, to be with my family as I recovered. I was busy, and money was the least of my worries. I also stopped reafibg my emails from anyone I knew in Tokyo, sick of all the pity. "Oops," I laighed awkwardly. "But this doesn't mean Im going to start skating again." My bowl was basically empty at this point, and my stomachs wanted to be in the same state. "And don't you have a family to eat with?" I asked, trying to push her away from me.

"Come on," she complained, pulling me into a hug, "I haven't seen my little Rainbow Crash in three years." I groaned, her arms were the only thing keeping me up right. I hated that nickname, and she had plenty.

Yuri snorted. "I forgot about that," he said. During my second year competeing I had extremely long hair, and I died it to look like a rainbow, to try and bring attention to the lgbtq movement in Japan. My costume for skating also happened to be blue, and there is plenty of lightning bolts were used with me. So people on the internet conected me to Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony, and I was a mainstream meme for a while. They changed it to crash, after I couldn't land a single jump for a week, luckily in the off season.

"I hate you all," I complained, and finally was allowed to return to my room.
