CHAPTER 12
Bus

D-DAY. I texted mom that I'll be visiting her tomorrow since my town is where our destination is. Sujeong was glad about that and I think they have a plan to wander around after the outreach program.

We are at the dorm and preparing our luggages. We'll stay for one night in that orphanage.

I heard some noises from the outside. It seems like the others are already getting out from their rooms. We are all 50 who will go that orphanage. We also got out from our room.

We went directly to the entrance of the campus because that's our assemble place. Almost all are already here.

"Kyahh! I'm excited!"

I've noticed that since yesterday, Taehyung isn't pissing Sujeong off anymore. What happened to him? Last night, I also noticed that they were awkward.

Speaking of last night...

My eyes quickly searched for Jihye. I yawned and stretched my arms. I didn't have a good slumber, I want to sleep again. Argh.

"Who are we waiting for?" Jisoo complained in boredom.

"Who else do you think?" Soojung said as if she's stating a fact and looked at the entrance of Mystic. Well, it's really a fact though.

I laughed mentally seeing Jihye with her big luggage like we are only staying there for a night. Almost all of us just brought a backpack.

I don't know if she's really having a hard time bringing her luggage of just making an act as if she can't.

"Uhmm! Hello? Help?"

I just smirked. Minwoo went out of the crowd and helped her. Jihye's expression suddenly changed when it was Minwoo who helped her. It's like she's expecting someone among the boys to help her. I guess you already know who that someone is.

"Oh I change my mind, I can manage it myself," she said and just passed by Minwoo. After asking for a help and now that someone voluntarily handed her a hand, her mind will instantly change? That's uhm ridiculous.

Now that we're finally complete, we're finally going out of Mystic. Four teachers are with us now. It's Sir Seojun, Sir Leejin, Ms. Minjoong and Ms. Yeonju.

We will not use the pathway in the back part of the Mystic, but the front one, where me and mom passed back then.

Ms. Minjoong firstly walked to the tree where mom passed through when she left. The students followed up while the three remaining teachers are monitoring us.

When it's already my turn, only darkness met my eyes. I focused myself and fiercely opened my eyes, I'm now using my night vision.

While walking, I looked around to see my classmates and my other schoolmates. It's so creepy to see different eye colours around me. Most of the students have yellow eyes, only few are with red eyes, including me. The teachers are with blue eyes. I guess that means their abilities are well-enhanced.

After walking for 15 minutes, Ms. Minjoong opened the door and we went out of it. Like what I expected, we ended up in a forest now. I slowly reminisced the time when it was my first time going here and I was wearing a short shorts and I can still remember how I was struggling so bad because of the insects that time. Luckily, I'm wearing jeans today.

Amidst of walking, Jihye complained.

"Ugh! So itchy!" She hits her legs. She's wearing a very short shorts. It looks like she can't bring her luggage easily now.

"No one will really help me, huh?!"

"Minwoo already helped you yet you said you change your mind. And now you're again asking for help?" Jaechan said and went to her to give a hand.

Jihye was caught off guard when Jaechan tried to help her. "Hey! Give it back to me," she said but Jaechan just ignored her.

"Shut up. Then you will complain again later. I don't want any noise. So be quiet."

And there, seeing Jaechan helping Jihye confirmed that I don't have feelings for him anymore. By how I reacted when Jungkook stared at Jihye, I don't know what's behind that unusual reaction. The whole time that I wasn't in the mood, I think Jungkook is the reason of it. But if something is already starting to bloom, and I think you already what I mean, then I'm sure it'd be better to not entertain it.

Finally, the road meets our feet. We hurriedly went to the two bus waiting for us.

"Okay, section 10A and half of 10B, go to that bus," Sir Leejin said and pointed at the bus he's referring to. We started walking towards that bus since we are in the section 10A.

"10C and half of 10B, proceed to that bus."

Everyone is already in the bus, except for the six of us. Since everything is settled, Jimin and Kei went inside the bus, followed by Taehyung and Sujeong, then me. And lastly, Jungkook.

Each seat can only occupy by two persons. I noticed Jimin and Kei are already seated. I knew it, something is really going on between them.

Just when Taehyung found a seat, he immediately dragged Sujeong beside him. Sujeong was surprised, everyone who witnessed that was also surprised.

My god, I can't be seatmates with Sujeong since Taehyung already got her.

The only available seats are beside Jaechan and Jihye. It's a fact that Jihye doesn't want me to sit beside her and the feeling is mutual, so I went directly to the seat beside Jaechan.

It was too late when I realized something.

Since the available seat is beside Jihye, technically, Jungkook will be occupying that seat!

Damn.

When Jungkook perceived that available seat, he emotionlessly sat beside her. What pissed me more is that their seats are just in the same row as us.

Seriously.

I'm just starting the day and I'm already not in the mood. Wow. Why am I being like this? I can't understand myself! Argh.

I changed seats with Jaechan, I want to be on the window side. I don't want my eyes to see these seatmates beside us.

Like I always do when I'm travelling, I got my phone from my pocket and insert my earphones onto my ears.

Things are already too much, I just want to have a good sleep.

I opened my eyes when I feel pain on the left side of my forehead. Oh, so I rested my head on Jaechan's shoulder. But waitㅡ

Jaechan is not wearing a white shirt..

Then whose shoulders are these?!

I got up and rubbed my eyes.

Oh my god.

I'm just seeing Jungkook comfortably sleeping beside me right now.

And my heart begins to palpitate.
