The Woods Part 3

Miya hears a voice yell.

"hey girly."

She blinks eyeing the two guys standing in front of her and hears some laughing off to her side. The one older guy turns his head sideways and smiles as he leans towards her.

"mason went up to the hills to get some radio message out so it looks like for a while it will be just us ad you."

He runs his hand down her face and she pulls away as the guy smiles.

"i see why mason tied you up, your one of those girls huh?"

He pushes against her as he whispers.

"i bet i could loosen you right up."

She turns away from him and he pushes her head closer to him as he whispers.

"don't have such a stick up your ass your gonna die anyway might as well have fun?"

She spits in his face as she whispers.

"fuck off."

He punches her hard in the face and younger boy comes up to them whispering.

"i don't think this is a smart idea. Mason-"

The guy turns to the young kid.

"isn't here."

The older guy reaches around loosening her tie as he nods to her.

"i'm sure we all can have some fun while he's away-"

She knees the guy in the groin and runs off to the right into the woods. Miya stops by some bushes and ducks down hearing some cursing as one of the guys yell out.

"fuck! that bitch!"

The men all quiet down as they whistle to each other. Miya slowly crawls through the grass and keeps crawling till she gets out into the open. She slowly gets to her feet but feels her body give out and she falls down to the grass. She takes a deep breath in and gets to her feet again walking towards the open field. As she gets to the open field she feels herself tackled to the ground and the man above her punches her in the face hard. She squirms under him trying to get away but he pushes down onto her. Slowly she reaches around her finding a small log and knocking the man in the head. The man falls over and Miya takes the small log and knocks the man hard in the head until the man stops moving. She grips the log and continues walking but stops hearing a gun shot and runs behind a tree. A guy walks out looking around and yells out.

"come on out girl, be smart. I shoot you and I don't get my payment, come on out and we can tie you back up and leave this as is."

Miya closes her eyes and hears the guy speak.

"me and Mace we go back a long time. You got my word no one else will harm you."

The man walks around and Miya pushes her back to the tree as the man turns towards the movement. He walks over holding out his gun as he yells.

"girl i know where you are, no need for more death, come on out peaceful."

Miya closes her eyes and the guy takes a shot at the tree and miya stays still as he grins.

"come on now get out from there." 

Miya moves out from the tree and the guy nods his head motioning.

"walk towards me."

She slowly walks towards him as he grins to himself and turns his head sideways.

"why don't you do a nice little twirl for me."

She glares up to him and he motions.

"come on now."

She spins around and he glances her over checking her with his eyes for weapons.

"well i must say mason always could pick them"

The guy turns his head sideways and miya eyes the walker coming up behind him as she asks.

"how do you know mason?"

The man grins as he motions to Miya.

"i was on his father's security detail until his father lost his shit. i later ended up with alpha a group offered me a place."

Miya steps closer eyeing the walker slowly making its way towards the man as she nods.

"so than you knew him before-"

The man nods his head smiling.

"the spoiled brat you mean."

Miya remains quiet and the guy nods him head.

"he's different now, i respect him-"

The walker moves forward biting into the guys neck and he pushes it away shooting it in the face. He watches it drop and turns back to miya holding up his gun as she motions to the walker who bit him.

"your dead, why bother-"

The man motions.

"respect he was always a good kid now hes a man and a leader."

The guy motions towards the tree.

"i'm gonna tie you up and than shoot myself"

Miya shakes her head.

"we have a problem because i'm not going back to that tree."

The man holds his bleeding neck and keeps his gun raised.

"i could shoot your leg than drag you back and i will."

She remains still and the man feels himself getting dizzy as he shakes his head as he falls to his knees. Miya stands there and the man looks up to her nodding his head. He lowers the gun for a second and stares her down as he whispers.

"tell him i'm sorry. i was weak."

He lifts the gun putting it in his mouth and nods to miya as he pulls back on the trigger and kills himself. Miya walks up to the man's body, bends down and takes his gun. She stares him over and eyes his military attire and looks to his gun eyeing the seal of the government engraved on it. She runs her hand over it and hears a voice and looks up. The man stands there eyeing over the dead body and looks up to her.

"did you do this?"

Miya shakes her head holding the gun as she whispers.

"a walker got him."

The man leans down and eyes the dead body and glances back to Miya.

"he was a good man, he served two tours for our country and came back. He didn't' deserve this and he shouldn't of died today." 

The man takes out his gun and holds it up pointing it at Miya and nods his head.

"ill tell mason I had no choice"

The man shoots miya's leg and miya falls to the ground holding it. She stares down holding her wound and the man turns his head sideways staring down at her. He lifts his gun pointing it in her face and she stares up at it as she whispers.

"mercy."

He turns his head sideways and grins as he keeps the gun up and she whispers.

"please."

She holds her wound and the man stares down and then back to his dead friend. He shakes his head lifting up the gun and whispers.

"none for you."

He goes to pull the trigger but feels the knife come to his neck and slowly slice his flesh. He drops the gun looking down at Miya as she stares back up to him as he falls to his knees hearing a voice behind him whisper.

"mercy is only human"
