Senator Reid stands next to Maggie at the gates to the hilltop and eyes rick and his people make their way down the road in their direction. He turns to Maggie and smiles kindly.

"just keep in mind what I said my boy is good by his word"

Maggie nods her head and motions down and the gates open as rick and his people walk into the hilltop community. Senator Reid looks down smiling as he waves down. Rick motion to Daryl who grabs senator Reid and Maggie questions.

"what's the meaning of this Rick?"

Rick motions to senator Reid questioning.

"Mason is your son do you have a way to contact him?"

Senator Reid looks over rick and lies.

"No not unless he comes here directly"

Rick stares down senator reid and demands.

"i know you have a way to get to him and you will help us..."

Senator Reid stares down rick and shakes his head disagreeing.

"you don't want to do this rick. my boy will do the right thing he always has..."

Rick stares to maggie and motions to the senator as he demands.

"bring him inside..."

Senator Reid is dragged inside and sat in front of a radio as rick motions.

"contact your son..."

Rick stares down senator reid and he stares down the radio as he comments.

"i said contact your son"

Senator Reid clicks the button and speaks firm.

"the fields they were so green once but now as i hear they have died and the estate is nothing"

Rick stares to senator Reid and asks unsure.

"what did that mean?"

Senator Reid smiles wide and stares down rick as he comments.

"i don't recommend getting on his bad side but that message will be understood by anyone who knows the estate."

A voice comes over the radio and Senator Reid stares the radio down as the voice demands.

"state your name..."

Senator Reid leans forward and comments into the radio.

"I wish to speak with my son Mason it is urgent..."

Rick moves the radio firmly and demands.

"I know you work for her the one they call Alpha. your not as good as you claim to be. in fact as far as I can tell you may be worse than Negan..."

A voice comes over the radio and it states firmly.

"i would watch yourself rick."

Rick moves forward pressing the radio as he asks firmly.

"who is this?"

The voice cracks over the radio again and states firmly.

"who the fuck do you think this is?"

Rick looks around the room at some of his men and comments.

"mason?"

The radio cracks again demanding respect.

"i don't know what you hope to accomplish with my father but your sadly mistaken rick. this is bigger than your little community. Even if you combined your strength you wouldn't last very long. Konnor gave you mercy but if you cross me their won't be any mercy not for you, your son or any of your friends..."
