The walking dead Fanfic: The Estate

Attack on Alexandria Part 1

A group of men stand on the walls of Alexandria overlooking the road and one turns his head hearing loud music. He slowly takes his binoculars and looks through them seeing some figures in the dark. He takes his gun looking through the scope and lowers it down yelling back.

"get rick, now!"

Rick walks up to the man's side and the man motions out.

"i can hear it, the music, its getting closer. I saw some figures out there, but I can't make it out"

A voice from behind rick whispers

"its walkers, a horde"

Rick turns back eyeing Mason who nods to him and motions to the man's refile.

"may I?"

The man looks down to his rifle and Rick nods and the man hands it to Mason. He slowly brings it up eyeing the road ahead of him and focuses the scope. He eyes the horde and grins to himself as he lowers the gun. He turns to rick nodding his head as he comments

"I recommend someone goes out to meet them"

Rick turns his head sideways.

"you want us to just go out there?"

Mason smiles to himself and motions to rick.

"that isn't a horde, its worse than that. if we don't go to them, they will come to us and if that happens, we all die"

Mason shoves the gun into the man behind him hands and motions to Alexandria and then nods to rick.

"get your people out of here. i'll go myself, they know me"

Mason jumps down off the ledge and nods to rick as he motions to the door and it slides open. He slowly walks out onto the road and rick looks after him yelling.

"its suicide"

Mason smiles to himself and looks to rick as he nods.

"no quite. you have an hour, get out"

Mason slowly walks down the road towards the sound of the music and whistles to himself as he stops and glances around him as he smiles. He whistles a low tune to himself and keeps walking forward as he hears the sound of loud screams. Mason slowly walks getting closer to the sound of the blasting music and stops in mid street eyeing the group of cars moving towards him. One comes to a halt in front of him and its doors open. Two people get out of the car wearing walker skin masks and one slowly steps forward nodding towards Mason. The person on the left raises a machete towards Mason and motions to the side

"peace has been reached, we will not harm you Reid if you step aside"

Mason turns his head sideways and glances to the other person on the right and nods to her.

"and you?"

She slowly removes her mask revealing herself to be Miya and she nods to her husband.

"we saw the labs, the children"

Mason wipes his mouth with his hand and glances to Miya as she turns her head sdieways

"the kids you keep locked there, the babies-"

Mason cuts her off

"don't pretend to be naive  one evil does not make another right"

Mason rubs his fingers on his gun tucked into his belt and Miya nods her head as she speaks

"i left it as it was because I wanted to know why?"

Miya steps forward and looks into Mason's eyes
