Fiona is escorted to a room and the door shuts over and she eyes Mason sitting in a chair with his feet up as he stares her down.

"Fiona Hearst.."

"Mason Reid." She eyes him over and he shifts his head back smiling.

"Haven't told Lewis you're alive yet I feel its better then him knowing the truth."

Fiona remains quiet and doesn't look Mason in the eyes as he smiles to himself. She glares up hearing his light laugh and asks outright.

"do you know what they do here?"

"teach lessons, Fiona." Mason leans forward in the chair and eyes her over.

She removes her clothes showing Mason all the bruises and scars and he sits back staring her over as she demands.

"what type of lessons are these?"

Mason gets up from his chair and walks around her staring down her body as he laughs to himself.

"Bishop told me he thought you got it. he said he thought you were ready"

"I am ready." Fiona glares to her left at Mason and he turns his head to the side.

"but are you?"

She leans down to pick up the baggy shirt and slips a small blade out of it as she glances up to Mason with a small smile.  as she rises to her feet she covers the blade with her shirt and waits for Mason to circle around her till his back is turned. when she goes to lunge towards him he shoves her into a wall holds her by her neck as he stares her down.

"well look at that."

He glances her body over and she shakes her head.

"don't you fucking dare Mason if you touch me."

Mason squeezes her wrist but she holds onto the knife tightly and he smiles as he whispers.

"got a lot of fight Fiona. where were you hiding this huh?"

She flinches away and he presses his lips to her ear.

"just one more lesson you got to learn."

Fiona stands there feeling Mason's hand tighten on her neck as he whispers.

"loyalty is the lesson. drop the knife."

She holds the knife tightly as she feels him squeeze her neck harder and she struggles feeling her body grow heavy as Mason whispers.

"drop it."

she holds on with all of her strength and Mason shakes his head getting angry but lets go of choking her. Fiona slides down the wall to a sitting position coughing out trying to catch her breath as he yells at her.

"why couldn't you just drop the fucking knife?"

Mason stares down her hand loosely holding the knife and stomps down onto her hand breaking it as she screams out in pain. Fiona huddles into a ball and Mason nods his head.

"fear or loyalty both work well I don't like people to fear me Fiona but if you want to do things this way we will. It won't hurt me I have already done terrible things but I have a heart especially for you."

Fiona remains quiet and Mason leans down whispering to her as he holds out his hand.

"just tell me, yes we can end this shit and I can take you back to your brother."

Mason smiles to Fiona and she slaps his hand away.

"no, I want you to have this on your conscious forever Mason. every time you look at me your gonna have to remember what you did."

She screams out as Mason slaps her hard across the face and yells at her.

"you think I'm bluffing. you think I won't do this?"

Fiona lets out a small laugh and stares up to Mason as she whispers.

"I know you will and you probably get off on it too. all of this shit like it has a purpose but we grew up together Mason. you've always been a horrible person spoiled, inconsiderate, self-centered and let's not forget your an asshole."

Mason bursts out laughing as he shakes his head.

"I was always nice to you Fiona your like a sister to me."

Fiona nods her head agreeing and looks down Mason.

"that's exactly why I won't give in. you'll have to rape me and make me fear you because Mason I want you to regret this every fucking day."

She spits at him and he looks her over shaking his head.

"Fiona I could rape you but that would just be a thing to do. I teach lessons and they stick and they work because actions have consequences."

He wipes the spit off his face and stares her down as he looks at his wet hand and whispers.

"sometimes those consequences affect other people."

Mason gets up and walks to the door knocking and it opens. he whispers something to the man outside and the man nods his head walking away. Mason leaves the door open and stares down Fiona as he again asks.

"remember Fiona you have the power here all it takes is one word."

A group of men comes into the room and she stares them down laughing.

"this isn't anything new Mason."

Mason motions to the men and they step aside and a young woman walks in covered in bruises and marks and Mason stares her down.

"Fiona this is my cousin Grace...."

Fiona stares the girl down and the girl looks to the floor not making eye contact with anyone as Mason comments.

"you see Grace is my favorite cousin. I trusted her with a lot, I trusted her with TSH but Grace, Gracie."

Mason goes to touch his cousin's face and she flinches away from him as Mason continues.

"Gracie was weak and couldn't do it and my hand was forced to act for the best of our community"

"what the fuck is TSH?" Fiona stares at Mason and Mason nods to her.

"the foundation of our society without it we don't eat, and we don't survive. Food isn't free, sleep isn't free, but fuck we make it look easy."

Gracie begins crying and shaking and Mason comforts her as he whispers.

"What happens here depends on Fiona. I don't want this I love you"

He kisses Gracie's forehead and looks to Fiona and comments.

"but Fiona still doesn't get that her actions affect everyone here. I love this community and everything we do affects our life"

"your right." Gracie looks to her cousin and he nods his head as he stares back at her and comments.

"you get it."

Mason massages his temple as he lets the headache take over from the stress of the situation but he blinks and stares down Fiona.

"Only you can stop this."

Gracie stares back to the three men and Mason turns his back as they drag Gracie towards them and Fiona sits there watching but eventually she yells out.

"stop!"

Fiona begins sobbing and looks up to Mason as she nods her head.

"I get it, yes, I get it."
