Maggie eyes the savior prisoners and turns her head sideways hearing a loud noise. She sees one of her men run towards her as he yells

"Negan!"

She grips her gun but hears the loud voice as it rises through the megaphone 

"Maggie, now I know your in there so be oh so kind and get your ass out here or my men will bring you out here"

Maggie eyes the only exit and takes a deep breath in as she steps up onto the platform overlooking the entrance. She eyes the large crowd of men with weapons and takes a deep breath in eyeing Negan standing on the top of a truck as he grins wide speaking again

"now we could take this place or we could save this place, that is up to you"

Negan points Lucille at Maggie and she yells out her reply

"go to hell Negan!"

she goes to turn around but stops hearing Negan

"I am sending one of my men in.  lets be civilized, there's something you should know"

Negan looks down eyeing Mason who steps up to the entrance and maggie looks down at him as he nods his hands up to her and takes off his jacket turning around showing her he has no weapons

"I am just here to talk"

She looks down at the men by the door and nods her head

"let him in"

She jumps down and as Mason walks in she holds a gun to his head and he nods to her

"i understand your anger"

Maggie shoves the gun to his head

"you cant begin to understand it"

She goes to hit him and he swipes her leg taking her gun and holding it to her head. Her men all point their weapons at him and he nods his head

"id be killing two lives here. I don't want the blood of an unborn child on my hand so do yourselves a favor, lay down your guns. I'm only here to talk Maggie if i wanted you dead, you would be"

He moves the gun away from her chin and reaches his hand out

"just hear me out"

She stares down his hand and he pulls her up nodding to her. He follows her inside the main building and to the office as he sits down into a chair and looks aorund

"very nice has an old Victorian taste to it"

Maggie turns her head sideways and Mason leans forward as he glances around

"ill be straight you should be worried"

Maggie shakes her head

"i'm not, negan doesn't scare me"

Mason grins wide as he leans back

"good but I am not talking about Negan. There is someone else out there, someone who will take and kill and they wont stop to negotiate like Negan"

Maggie sits back in her chair and Mason leans forward

"they will kill you and they wont care if your carrying a child. they won't care if your good people. You'll die which is why i am here. i want to see you and everyone live through this but to do that we have to come together. we have to put the past behind us"

Maggie shakes her head

"we won't join the saviors"

Mason nods his head

"im not asking you to instead I am asking you to pretend to join the saviors just long enough to deal with this issue than if you want Negan dead I won't stop you"

Maggie leans back in her chair and shakes her head

"Negan isn't stupid he killed my husband, he knows I won't agree"

Mason nods his head and leans back in his chair

"i'll take care of Negan. All i need is a yes from you an agreement to just smile and play nice let Negan believe he has power. We need an army if we don't come together we all die"

Maggie leans forward eyeing over Mason as she comemnts

"even if I agree you still got a lot of people to convince and Rick I can't see him ever agreeing to this"

Mason nods his head

"maybe not but if everyone else does we all have a better chance if rick won't it doesn't mean some of his people won't. You run this community, not rick"

Maggie shakes her head

"what your asking me, isnt easy Mason"

Mason stands and leans over the desk

"it wasn't easy for me Maggie. I don't trust Negan but we have to do this if we want to survive this needs to happen. My people don't know Rick they won't follow him but Negan they know, they get him. This needs to be Negan's show even if I don't agree with it"

Maggie nods her head staring down Mason as she asks

"what about your people, the estate?"

Mason glances around the office and smiles to himself as he turns to Maggie.

"They will follow Negan because they understand it they have seen whats out there, whats coming"

Maggie eyes over Mason and he leans forward

"I don't want to see anyone die I do my best to save people Maggie. Negan he kills people but he has a heart and he wants to help but we need to work together for this to work"

Mason places out his hand eyes it and looks up to Maggie.

"will you help me save people"

Maggie eyes his hand and looks up to Mason as he smiles wide looking down at Maggie as she moves in her chair turning her head sideways and asks.

"how can we trust you, any of you people?"
