Attack on Alexandria Part 3

Negan awakens and feels his body stiff as he hears a voice but sees nothing but blackness. He breaths in hearing the voice comment

"stay still the pain will be intense for a few hours when the drug wears off. We normally only use it on recruits its suppose to represent what turning feels like without the actual turning part"

Negan tries to move his hands but the voice comments

"your tied into the chair we took measures to ensure you wouldn't interfere. Lewis sent you here?"

Negan tries to speak and the voice comments

"its alright your voice will slowly come back-"

Negan speaks

"fuck you"

Evan reaches forward and pulls off the dark hood covering Negan's face and Negan looks up commenting

"fucking A, I should have killed your ass but here i am being all nice"

Evan paces in front of Negan as Negan asks feeling the intense pain in his joints

"what happened, is this Mason's plan?"

Evan leans towards Negan smiling

"no, this is all me. I asked Lewis for help. I wanted you here"

Evan raises a gun pressing it to Negan's head smiling

"Your making us weak, its time for a new Negan, a better one"

Negan laughs to himself and Evan yells

"shut up!"

Negan glances up

"your just another pawn. it must suck knowing that is all you will ever be. You don't think Mason wants me dead? Your just doing exactly what he wants, kill me and than what? Who becomes Negan than, Mason?"

Negan laughs to himself and Evan presses the gun to his head

"anyone is better than this"

Negan looks up to Evan

"think carefully, Mason never wanted to lead, hell he ran to Alexandria first chance he got so he could kick back and not do shit. He's a scavenger, he will feed off a strong community and suck them dry and move to the next"

Negan glances down at his tied up hands and comments

"why do you think he left the estate to see his old man? That man who tried to kill him. Fuck he turned his own wife on him and that bitch tried to kill him too. Mason never wanted it, he got bored, so he washed his hands with you, all of you"

Evan shakes his head and Negan laughs

"I know the kid, he's like a son, a dysfunctional, crazy motherfucker, but the kid is a survivor. He didn't leave to see his old man Evan, he left because he knew the whisperers would attack and he cut his losses to save himself"

Evan lowers his gun and Negan continues talking

"look i need more men, good men, men who get what I do saves people. Mason, he doesn't care about you, hell he cares for himself and that is it. The three of them are playing everyone. Konnor, Miya and him its what they do Evan. Join me and take your boys with you. we can save people, do something that actually matters. We can take the estate back, the hill top, than the kingdom, we can rebuild and when we are done we can use all those men to kill them"

Evan wipes his mouth but Lydia comments 

"you think this guy is any better than Mason?"

Evan looks to Lydia and Lydia shakes her head 

"Mason saved my life, he got me out of there. hes not a whisperer, hes a good person"

Negan turns to Lydia laughing as he shakes his head

"your tied up, your a prisoner kid. good people don't need prisoners. He's using you"

Lydia shakes her head disagreeing and Negan laughs to himself

"hes fooling you all, Mason had some girl, an innocent girl, try to kill me. Does that sound like a good person?"

Lydia comemnts

"its the Apocalypse is anyone really a good person anymore?"

Negan pulls up but feels his wrist burn as Evan comments

"i won't join you Negan. the saviors aren't all that good either"

Negan looks down and back up at Evan

"look kid your hand, what happened, you know people need to learn lessons-"

Evan comments holstering his gun

"I am not gonna kill you Negan but your staying put for now"

Negan looks down at his bloody wrist and back up to Evan.

"think carefully after all the shit is done who do you think is gonna be left Mason, the estate? I survived a lot of shit, I know what it means to lead, to save people but Mason he will throw you in front of him if it means another day lived"

Negan pushes forward as he whispers

"you know I'm right Evan. Think about the first day you met him. you saw what he can do. He just shot your leader  in the face but me I was gonna just talk and explain things but Mason he killed someone"

Evan grips the dark hood and shoves it over Negan's head shutting him up.
