Lewis eyes the two people in front of him and nods his head.
"strip"
They look to him and he nods his head
"strip we need to see every inch of everyone if your infected you can't come in"
The two women strip down and Lewis walks around them eyeing them over and stops eyeing a mark on one of the women's back and shakes his head
"where did this mark come from?"
The younger women looks to her mother and comments
"its just a scratch"
Lewis turns his head and eyes the bite mark and shakes his head
"you can't come in, I'm sorry. I can clean up the wound and send you off"
The girls turns back yelling
"you can't do this! its not safe out there we won't survive"
Lewis looks to the other woman and back to the woman's daughter
"your mother is fine its just you and I'm sorry your already dead. It could be a day or a few hours depending when you got bit"
The girl comments
"i feel fine"
Lewis shakes his head commenting
"I'm sorry there's nothing we can do"
The mother commens
"what about antibiotics its an infection can't you do something!"
Lewis shakes his head
"im sorry"
The girl goes to lunge at him but she is pulled back by Colonel Everett who nods to Lewis and looks down at the girl
"your free to leave but if your not gone in 10 minutes"
The colonel grips his gun but Lewis pushes it down looking to the girl
"we could set up a tent for the infected if they wish to stay with their family to the end. If you like i can set up a bed, some morphine"
Colonel Everett interrupts him
"that is wasting supplies, supplies we may need"
Lewis nods his head understanding
"ill deal with the results of my actions if i need to but this girl she deserves to be with her family when she goes"
Lewis pushes colonel Everett to the side and whispers
"it could also be an opportunity to see it up close. you haven't yet, have you?"
Colonel Everett shakes his head and Lewis turns back to the girl and her mother
"ill have a second tent set up for now you can rest here I'll be back to check on you"
Lewis steps out and walks across the lawn to another tent eyeing Mason looking over two people as he steps in.
"Mason."
Mason turns towards Lewis as Lewis nods to him
"can i borrow you for a second?"
Mason motions to the two people and walks out of the tent looking over Lewis as Lewis comments
"i decided to set up a tent for the infected i think its better than just letting them wonder off they can die in peace"
Mason stares overt the large group and whispers
