Chapter 5: Fears

          "Namjoon!" Jimin bothered the older man who was putting away some books.

         "Yes?" Namjoon asked as he turned his head to focus on Jimin. "Need anything?"

          Jimin quickly turned around to check if the young man was anywhere near and once he wasn't, Jimin spoke in a low voice. "Okay.. I'm starting to feel that Jungkook is very lonely.. I see it now."

           "Seems like he is, starting to question your new friend, Jimin?" Namjoon chuckled. "I told you."

           "Well I never expected him to seem so sensitive and lonely.. Theres no problem in that.. I just want to know more about him and that 'something' he hides!"

         "You know Jimin, theres many rumors about him... Some even claim he actually does have a wife and a child."

         Jimin shook his head. "He told me he isn't into dating.."

         "I never said it could be a stable marriage." Namjoon claimed.

           "I'm going out for coffee with him Friday! I can ask him for answers. I just hope he let's me in on it..."

      "Well until then, we'll wait to see who's right or wrong." Namjoon claimed walking off.

         Jimin thought Namjoon's theory about Jungkook having a family of his own wasn't very good. He doubted the thought and when it was closing time, Jungkook decided to leave with Jimin. Jimin wasn't the last employee to leave, there was atleast one more lady that was going to lock up but Jungkook decided to walk out with Jimin.

          Jimin walked out of the library heading home when he realized Jungkook was following him. Jimin turned around and his eyes met with his friend. "H-hi, Jungkook! What are you doing here?"

             "I-I was... I was making sure you'd get home safely..." Jungkook claimed coming to a stop.

           "Well if you wanted to walk with me, you should have asked. Come on." Jimin waved his hand back to make Jungkook follow. As the two were walking through the dark night, Jungkook felt happy he had someone to walk with. The social, young man walked along Jimin and talked to the older about fears.

          "Jimin? What types of things are you scared of?" Jungkook asked looking at the smaller yet older man.

          "Fear... Hmm let's see.. I don't like the dark, ghost are terrifying, zombies.. And I'm pretty sure that theres more but those are the things I can think of right now."

           "W-what about being alone? Falling in love?" Jungkook asked as Jimin shook his head.

         "Are you scared of that?" Jimin questioned the younger.

         Jungkook nodded slightly as he kept following the path to Jimin's place. "Those are things I fear the most."

         "So he is a lonely guy... Fears love and being alone.. How does he go along with his life? We all have solitude at some point in our lives.." Jimin wondered in his mind while listening to Jungkook.

          "When I'm lonely... I get these things.. things like- ugh it's hard to explain.. Jimin, I feel hurt when I am lonely.. I feel like I can't hear and I've gotten mute and when I'm alone... I'm reminded of so many things I've done! And theres no one around me to help.." Jungkook claimed as Jimin stopped and placed his gentle hands on Jungkook's shoulders.

           "I'm here for you, Jungkook. Although, I can't promise I'll protect you from solitude forever.. You'll have to get over it yourself. Sure, you have people at home to keep you company.. but in order for you to get rid of this.. You'll have to stay in solitude."

           "J-Jimin... I have no one at home for me.." Jungkook claimed feeling like he was going to tear up. "I used to... but not anymore.."

        Jimin didn't know what to do at this moment... Jungkook was going to start crying and tears almost ran down his cheeks. "How does he sleep at night knowing he's alone?" Jimin thought as he sighed and looked down trying to think of a solution to help the young man.

            Jimin then came up with an Idea just glancing at his phone. "We can... video chat." Jimin suggested as Jungkook smiled through his tears and nodded.

        "Yes... We can do that." Jungkook nodded feeling happy about the idea.

         "Skype, we can video chat on skype." Jimin pulled out his phone and looked up at Jungkook. "Do you have skype?"

          "Haven't made one.. Can you please leave your information so I can contact you once I join?" Jungkook took out his phone.

         Jimin nodded and pulled up his username to Jungkook and showed it to the younger. "Copy it down and once you get on, don't hesitate to video call when you need company."

           Jungkook's tears dried. Now, he was no longer glum.. Jungkook had company even if it was through a screen. Jungkook copied down Jimin's username and looked up at the older man. "Thankyou... Thankyou for being so kind to me.."

           Jimin patted Jungkook's back and continued to walk home with his friend. Jimin didn't want Jungkook to feel afraid, however Jimin couldn't protect him forever.. Soon, Jimin would have to help Jungkook get use to isolation. It was the only way he can avoid having such a phobia.
