Chapter 68: Harm

        "How is it?" Jungkook asked as Jimin was already eating happily. Jimin nodded making a smile showing he was enjoying his food.

          "I guess we'll have to hurry because I do want to get to my appointment on time!"

           "Jimin, don't rush you'll get a stomach ache." Jungkook worried.

            "I would take my time, but I want to get there on time!"

            Jungkook giggled. "Jimin, patience please." Jungkook continued as Jimin took it easy and took his time. Jungkook ate with Jimin comfortably and noticed how Jimin was almost done! "Baby, do you want to order another dish?" Jungkook asked as Jimin wiped his mouth with the napkin clean to speak.

            "I-I can have dessert." Jimin replied as Jungkook held up the menu again. The waiter would leave it for just in case they would love to order again.

         "Okay.. Let's see.." Jungkook stopped eating just to check the menu for Jimin and actually get him something. "How about a mochi for my little Mochi?" Jungkook cooed as Jimin shook his head.

            "A rice cake?" Jimin asked as Jungkook shook his head too.

           "Rice cake is more common, you eat it all the time. Let's get you a chocolate cake or a pie!" Jungkook claimed as Jimin shrugged.

              "Seems good to me! I want a chocolate cake." Jimin replied as Jungkook set the menu down and waited for the waiter. Jimin noticed how Jungkook stopped eating just to order for Jimin. Yet, Jimin thought he should atleast order so Jungkook wouldn't have to. "Jungkook, I'll take care of it, you eat before the  food gets cold."

         "Don't you worry about me, I ca-"

          "Nope!" Jimin grabbed the menu. "I can order. You, eat." Jimin held the menu in his hands avoiding on giving it up to Jungkook. Jimin wanted Jungkook to enjoy the food while it was still hot and not take long to eat it.

         Jungkook sighed no longer putting up a fight so he can continue to eat and Jimin would stop fighting over the menu. "Okay! Okay.. I'm eating!"

        Jimin ended up ordering the dish and smiled happily while he waited for it watching Jungkook eat. "Jungkook... I need to ask you something.."

          "Yes?"

         "I hate to ruin the mood right now but I can't help to grow angry at Je-anne for showing up at our porch.." Jimin recalled.

          "I doubt she had any intentions." Jungkook replied as he continued eating the stir-fried fish cakes. "What could someone like her do?"

            "Jungkook... She was holding a knife in her pocket and refused to leave! I think she wanted to hurt me..." Jimin whispered so others wouldn't hear.

            "She might bring it up just to scare you... In reality, she wouldn't hurt anyone..." Jungkook replied.

             "Are you sure?" Jimin got serious. "Are you sure she never harmed anyone? Are you sure she won't ever hurt someone?" Jimin folded his arms. "Enlighten me please.." Jimin didn't believe Jungkook, there was more to this than he thought! How would Jimin believe a woman who was pregnant before, want an abortion? Je-ann wasn't harmless... She seemed cruel.

            "Jimin..." Jungkook got silent. "Fine.. S-she harms.. And hurts to get what she wants. I hated to tell you this because, I didn't want you to get scared."

            "Jungkook, if she decides to hurt me.. Or the baby... I'll have to defend myself and call the police!"

            "Yes, Jimin..." Jungkook replied. Something in him feared his ex. Je-anne used to abuse Jungkook during the relationship. If Jungkook was to ever tell anyone, they'll call him weak for taking hits from his ex and verbal abuse! There was no way Jungkook would actually fight back. Je-anne harmed him to make him stay with her. It was not only until the child's birth, was Jungkook able to say he was free from Je-anne. It only seemed like she only 'loved' Jungkook for looks. Yet again, falling in love for personality was very rare now.

            The woman lied to him and cheated on him with Mr. Yang. When Jimin told Jungkook the news of Jimin's new manager is Je-anne's husband, automatically Jungkook whispered to himself... "I knew it... I knew that liar would cheat on me like that before.." however, Jungkook had chances to leave Je-anne! But he couldn't bring himself to do it. If Je-anne wasn't in his life at the time, who would? He only had his mother at the time but she was busy at work make her son happy. As much as Jungkook wanted to leave Je-anne, he couldn't because she was all he had back then.

            Now, times have changed. Jungkook finally moved on and now that Je-anne realizes Jungkook stopped chasing after her, Je-anne grew jealous. The woman wanted to be the one Jungkook would confess to, only to break his heart for fun. Her mind was very twisted on the inside!

             Jimin noted how Jungkook grew silent as he continued to finish up his meal... Jungkook felt bad now, Je-anne was coming after Jimin! He knew Je-anne would never leave him alone... Only if he takes extreme measures to make sure he keeps his Jimin and future baby safe. Who knows what that lady has up her sleeve?
