Jungkook smiled through his tears and placed his hand on his chest over his heart. "I-It feels much better confronting you on this..." Jungkook wiped his tears and looked up at Je-anne.
Je-anne glanced back at Jimin who was watching worryingly. "You... You'll get him pregnant and then lets see how tough it is to take care of a child.." Je-anne claimed looking at Jungkook. "You think you can flee from falling in love... You are wrong, see that man over there? You'll get him pregnant one night and ruin his life! Like how you did to me..."
"I took care of Lila.. You wanted her dead, the words you said about her.. And how much you hated her caused her to be born with a heart problem! M-my little girl had heart issues because of you!"
"I-I said I was sorry." Je-anne replied.
Jungkook shook his head. "I hope the best for your future child..." Jungkook walked off as Jimin ran up to Jungkook and hugged him. Jimin hugged Jungkook tightly as Jimin watched Je-anne leave the library.
"Are you okay?" Jimin whispered as Namjoon was just smiling looking at the two feeling like he was watching such a good movie.
"Did you hear any of that?" Jungkook asked looking at Jimin slowly pulling away from the hug.
Jimin shook his head. "I only saw you tear up..." Jimin replied. "Was there something I needed to hear?"
Jungkook shook his head and kissed Jimin's forehead like he always does. "Nothing at all..." Jungkook was thinking of what Je-anne just said... What if one day he does get Jimin pregnant? Jungkook was getting nervous.. If he was to cause Jimin such stress, he wouldn't forgive himself. Jungkook was scarred... He couldn't see himself become a father again.... After losing his daughter one day becuase he wasn't fast enough to give her the medication, Lila was suffocating... And as Jungkook looked back at the day, he would cry and place his hand over his heart like it was killing him slowly.. Remembering how he wasn't fast enough to save Lila the second time. He blamed himself.
That night as Jungkook and Jimin walked home, Jimin hoped to go home but Jungkook was holding Jimin's hand tightly. Whatever Je-anne told him made him angry yet sad at the same time.
"Jungkook... Please tell me what were the two of you were talking about..." Jimin asked as Jungkook kept walking and holding Jimin's hand tightly. "Jungkook... M-my hand... I-It hurts.."
Jungkook finally released Jimin hand but only to hold Jimin's wrist.
Jimin looked down at his hand and stopped to try to snatch his hand back. "A-ah it hurts!" Jimin pulled his hand away cupping it as Jungkook stopped walking.
"I'm sorry... I just don't want you to run from me... And leave.." Jungkook claimed. "I need you more than ever right now.." Jungkook looked over at Jimin who was cupping his small hands.
"W-why did you think I was going to leave you?" Jimin asked as Jungkook walked back to Jimin.
"I was only thinking about something... And then I got mad at myself..." Jungkook claimed.
"Was it something Je-anne said?" Jimin wondered.
"Yes, it was.."
"W-will you tell me about it?" Jimin questioned as Jungkook held Jimin's soft hand now holding it gently.
"Yes.." Jungkook took Jimin's hand gently as they were walking to Jungkook's house. "I know you haven't been in your house for a while now.. I'm sorry about that.."
"It's fine... I want you to feel happy and me being here for you makes us both happy... I love you Jungkook.." Jimin smiled intertwining his hands with Jungkook's.
Jungkook smiled looking at Jimin. "You're so sweet..."
Jimin blushed at what Jungkook told him as they kept walking together. "Jungkook? I never knew Je-anne was pregnant... Did you cry because of that?"
"No... I cried because.. She wanted my help and she thought after all this time she can finally say sorry and expect me to actually forgive her... If she wants help so bad.. She might aswell tell the man that got her pregnant and hope for the best... I had to take care of my daughter all by myself at times with little help from my mother.. But even my mother told me I have to be a man and take care of my child on my own at times... I just had my mother with me so she'll tell me what was okay..." Jungkook said as Jimin listened to Jungkook.
"Jungkook.... You never told me... What happened to Lila.. How did she..?"
"Heart issues.... And it was all my fault.. She needed a medication but I was busy working I didn't check the time to see it was her medication time.. It was ten minutes after her medication and I was busy planning out a theater act... For my job and didn't realize it was her time for her medication." Jungkook let out a deep sigh. "When I finally glanced at the clock.. I quickly dashed to the room with her medication... O-only to see her in tears crying and suffocating... I didn't know what to do! I didn't know the steps on how to save her so I called the ambulance to come quick.. I picked her up not sure what to do... I didn't want her to die..." Jungkook stopped walking and looked up at the shining stars above the dark night sky. "Then... I heard her grow calm... Silent... And that's when I knew I lost her.."
Jimin stepped infront of Jungkook and dried Jungkook's tears with the white scarf around his neck. "Y-you did all you could..." Jimin's voice was shaky as he heard Jungkook trying to stop his tears.
Jungkook pulled Jimin into a hug and held him tightly not wanting to let go. "If only.. I held her like this before she left.."
