Chapter 59: The result

        After a tough day at work, Jimin was heading over to the store to buy a pregnancy stick. Jimin carried a book of child care from the library he checked out. Jimin knew this was dangerous to check out and take home, but he needed to know everything about this topic in life! His questions were all answered in here and needed the book desperately.

        When Jimin walked into the store, he got nervous to walk into the baby section. He felt a bit embarrassed to be there.. Jimin shyly walked up to the pregnancy sticks and looked around confused. "Which one is the right one to choose?! Aren't they all the same?" Jimin said to himself under his breath until a hand reached out to grab a pink pregnancy stick box.

          "These are more helpful." the voice called out as Jimin turned his head to see Je-anne standing there holding out the box as she had her other hand in her big brown coat. "These give the result much more quicker." Je-anne claimed as Jimin accepted the box.

           "Thankyou." Jimin responded.

            "I see you and Jungkook may have gotten together one night." Je-anne stared.

          "Um.. Yes.. I started feeling symptoms." Jimin claimed.

          "Oh! Then once you find out if you are pregnant, we can both head out to buy things for the babies!" Je-anne smiled. "Of course you'll need to find the gender, I already have mines, the baby is a boy.. My first son!"

          "Congratulations." Jimin replied as he decided to walk off taking the pregnancy test to the cashier.

           "H-how's Jungkook...?" Je-anne asked feeling worried.

          Jimin stopped and turned around as he was nearly there to the counter. "He's doing well."

           "Has he been happy?"

            "Yes."

            "I see.." Je-anne sighed. Jimin realized Je-anne wasn't wearing her ring again.. This was getting on his nerves. He felt mood swings already.

           "Je-anne? You have a ring. Wear it with pride." Jimin murmured as Je-anne was able to hear it. The woman stood there as Jimin bought the pregnancy test, she was shocked Jimin knew she was married... Now she suspected Jungkook knew by now too!

            Jimin walked out of the store holding the bag as he carried the box out to look at it. "So weird how a small little stick can check if I am pregnant or not.." Jimin claimed as he began to hurry home to see what was the result. When Jimin got home, he opened the door and got into the house taking off his shoes and setting the bag down that carried his lunch boxes. Jimin only ate the kimchi ramen and decided to give the Lobster gimbap and the octopus to Namjoon. Jimin did eat street food from the carts outside the library, so Jimin wasn't that hungry for now.

             Jimin closed the door and locked it. He grew sleepy but knew he couldn't sleep until he received the result! Jimin hid his book of baby child care under the bed mattress and went to take the test.

          After taking the test Jimin was sitting on the bathroom floor to see what he had. As the stick took a moment the result came back positive! Jimin blinked his eyes and looked at it closely to make sure... As it flashed the positive symbol, Jimin set the stick onto the sink and smiled happily beginning to cry in tears of joy. He wiped his tears happily but then stopped and stood up. Jimin was pregnant... But there was only one problem left.. And that was to tell Jungkook! There was no doubt the baby was Jungkook's, but Jungkook had the right to know!

           Jimin washed the pregnancy stick and cleaned his hands before hiding the stick in the box and putting it in a waste bag to throw out... Jimin was not going to tell Jungkook today, the safest way he thought was just to slowly bring the conversation back on the table. Even if it'll get Jungkook mad again.

          The man read on the chapters of the book advising Jimin to start scheduling doctor visits in order to see the gender, and due date. After Jimin was to do that, the doctor will guide him on the rest. Jimin knew he was never going to do this alone. It all fell onto how Jungkook would react. Normally when the conversation was brought up, he will get angry and wouldn't want to continue the conversation. But Jimin was going to talk about this slowly to him and when the time is right, he'll let Jungkook in on all of this.

             At night, Jimin layed awake on the bed with Jungkook sleeping beside him. Jungkook was in a deep sleep next to his lover as Jimin just held the younger's hand. Keeping this a secret for a while wasn't going to be easy, Jimin gently placed Jungkook's hand on his stomach while Jungkook slept.

             "I wonder what gender will the baby be.." Jimin whispered to himself as he held Jungkook's hand on his stomach. "I hope you'll still love me after.."
