Jungkook got silent. The young boy's expression changed into sadness as he nodded. He began to tear up. "M-my doctor diagnosed me... Just when I realized I wasn't myself after my breakup..." Jungkook whispered.
Jimin hugged Jungkook. "This can take time to conquer your fear... It's not easy just doing this alone." Jimin smiled hugging him. "Maybe we can do something you love to do. We can handle this together."
"Y-you're so nice to me.. why... why do you help me so much?" Jungkook sobbed hugging Jimin.
"Friends, friends help eachother!" Jimin claimed pulling away to smile. "So what you hate being alone? You will be just fine.."
"W-what makes you say that?" Jungkook asked drying his own tears.
"Because I'm here! I'll be sure to stick by with you... Fixing what she broke."
"Jimin..." Jungkook smiled through his sad tears and patted Jimin's shoulder. "You're amazing..."
Jimin was going to be in there with Jungkook for a long time. He didn't care about his work or anything at the moment. The issue of being Monophobic is it can cause panic attacks and intense fears that may scare the person. They will seek comfort from others they know and run away from things when they get too scared.
It was like Jungkook was a small helpless bunny to Jimin's eyes. Jimin took care of Jungkook even on days where he is very sleepy. Jungkook always tagged along with Jimin, he followed him everywhere! and this never bothered Jimin one bit since it helped Jungkook the most.
"Jimin... Won't you be late for work?" Jungkook asked feeling much better now.
"I get in at four. I have time with you here..." Jimin claimed.
"You also see me at the library, so you'll see me everyday!" Jungkook smiled. "I never knew what good I did to have such a nice friend.. Jimin? I think we could be best friends at this point!"
Jimin nodded giving Jungkook another hug. "What do you mean, 'what good' you did to deserve me? You're an amazing person..."
Jungkook's smile faded. "I am?"
"Yes Jungkook!"
"Then why do I feel-" Jungkook looked at the children's book and shook his head. "Nothing... Let's enjoy this time now." Jungkook commented.
Jimin looked at the book and began to wonder why Jungkook loved taking care of children.. Maybe he wanted his own children, or maybe he loved to be there and teach them many things. It was his occupation to blind him from the real fear he had. Once Jungkook's preschool students left and the storytime children left.. He relied on people nearby and pushed himself to make friends.
Soon the two were at the library, Jimin was scanning an over due book pile but kept Jungkook's book seperated from the others since Jungkook wanted to check it out again.
After Jimin scanned other overdue books, he got to Jungkook's and realized, Jungkook has checked this book out the most! It was three months ago when he started to check this book out every single time! Jimin didn't see why Jungkook couldn't just order the same book online.. But maybe this book alone meant something to Jungkook. It could be the first book he read to students or the first book he picked out to read to his students.. It was unknown. Jimin just believed Jungkook loved this book and it was always overdue. Why can't Jungkook just say he 'lost' the book and pay the fee so he can keep it? Many other people did this but Jungkook did not.
Jimin can hear Jungkook's laughter with the kids as he read the book's to children. Jimin tilted his head looking at the thick book of Children folktales. "What's so good about this book anyways? Is there.. a hidden page he left in it?" Jimin thought holding the book to his face as Namjoon walked by.
"Jimin? Book's are for reading, not for gawking." Namjoon teased wearing his thick square glasses along with a white hoodie sweater, blue jeans and converse. "What on earth are you doing?"
"Nothing.. I just think it's weird how he only checks out this book..." Jimin claimed. "Do you think he only likes children books like an adult baby?!"
"Or a pedophile?" Namjoon shrugged taking the scanned books into his cart.
"He told me he has Monophobia... But I don't know why he likes children so much. He read this book to me like I was a child." Jimin claimed and quickly looked up at Namjoon. "BUT I'M NOT SAYING IT'S A PROBLEM! I-I'm just concerned for him... Where did he learn this type of things?"
Namjoon then notcied a beautiful blonde haired girl walking into the library, she had long curls, pale skin, dark brown almond eyes and pink lip gloss along her full lips that curved into a smile. She wore a red turtle neck sweater, a light brown coat and black skinny jeans with white shoes. The attractive woman had her hands in her pockets as she walked up to the story time circle that has just finished.
Namjoon nudged Jimin and whispered, "Who is she?" Namjoon asked as Jimin looked up to see the kids leave the circle. Jungkook was standing there with the woman as she began to talk to Jungkook. This only left Jimin to think the beautiful woman was no other than Jungkook's ex, Je-anne..
