So we've already discussed that Flavio sees Violet as a mother figure, so here are a couple thoughts playing off it.
Flavio sometimes accidentally calls Violet Mama. He gets super embarrassed when he realizes it and Violet will affectionately tease him about it.
Violet is very protective of her son, especially when Julia is around.
Violet: let me know if she bothers you. I'll cut her head off.
Flavio: Violet no
Violet: Violet yes
Outside of the public eye, they really are like mother and son.
On nights when she's around, if Flavio has a nightmare, he'll go straight to Violet. Not Santiago. Not Luciano. Violet. She'll comfort him and hug him until he feels safe again. The entire time he'll call her 'Mama' and she'll call him 'Orchid'.
No but can I please express for a moment how much I love the idea of Violet calling Flavio Orchid. Because in Rosland common names are things named after some kind of plant or tree and to give a non-native a name that would normally belong to an otherwise native Roslindian is like a huge thing. So she calls Flavio that ever since he was a kid and he never knew why until he got older and the internet started existing so he looked it up and he's just like holy shit
Tldr they are Mama and Orchid and they love eachother
