One of the reasons why Allen tourtures Luciano is because Allen is his ex.
They used to date a long time ago, Luciano had no idea what relationships were supposed to be like at the time since he was wildly inexperienced, leaving open for Allen to manipulate him.
Allen began to distance Luciano from his friends and family so he couldn't tell anyone. Then it escalated from simple manipulation to abuse. This is what led to Luciano's concern about trust and safety later on.
Luciano finally left the relationship when it was too much. What is too much you ask? Hospital.
He still hasn't told anyone, and doesn't really want to. He thinks they won't like him anymore if they knew what he went through.
