Father and Son

Dean doesn't really seemed fazed by his sons phrase, he just simply says.
Dean:"I'd have to clear that with Raven first but, before I go do that I gotta know. Why of all places did you come here?"
(Y/n) sighs before saying.
(Y/n):"Well, I didn't really have anywhere else I could go."
Dean:"Why didn't you go home to Meadow?"
(Y/n) scoffs before telling his dad while looking down.
(Y/n):"Dad, that place stopped being home after I buried mom. I don't really have a place I would even consider to be my home."
Dean then says while going to sit on the edge of the bed.
Dean:"I can't say I fault you for thinking that. I'm of the same impression."
He then puts his hand on his shoulder in the hopes to comfort his son. There is a long silence before (Y/n) speaks up.
(Y/n):"Hey Dad."
Dean:"Yes son."
(Y/n):"How did you figure out mom died?"
Dean sits there for a second as he tries to figure out exactly how to answer his question. Before he answers Dean turns to Neo, who immediately gets up and wakes Sera from her nap and they both leave the tent. Dean then continues on.
Dean:"Well..."
-flashback 10 years ago-
Dean immediately snaps awake as he coughs and gasps for air. Once he finally gathers himself he realizes he is in a tent with bandages around his stomach where he had been stabbed. He begins to think to himself as he looks around.
Dean's thoughts:"Where the hell am I?"
His eyes then all of a sudden open as wide as they can as he says in a very hoarse voice.
Dean:"Demi (Demetria). (Y/n). Sera."
As he finishes this he tries to stand but ultimately begins to fall face first off the bed he was laying in. Before his face hit the ground he feels someones arm underneath his chest keeping him from falling any further. He just looks up to see Raven which causes him to ask surprised.
Dean:"Raven?"
Raven puts Dean back on the bed before asking him.
Raven:"Where do you think you're going?"
Dean:"I need to get back home. Demi and my kids are in danger."
He tries to get back up again before Raven pushed him back onto the bed before telling him.
Raven:"You've been out for a whole year. You couldn't go anywhere even if you wanted to."
Dean looks shocked and terrified as he tells Raven out of pure desperation.
Dean:"Raven I need you to do something for me."
Raven states waiting for what he is going to ask her.
Raven:"Okay?"
Dean follows this up by saying in a very nervous and panicked voice.
Dean:"I need you to go check on my family."
Raven:"I don't know."
Dean begins to beg and plead with tears forming in his eyes.
Dean:"Please, Raven. I beg of you."
Raven then hatches an idea before she says.
Raven:"Fine I'll go check on your family. Under one condition."
Dean:"Name it."
Raven:"After I check on them you join the bandit tribe."
Dean reluctantly says.
Dean:"Fine but please hurry."
With that Raven leaves pretty quickly, leaving Dean by himself as he hopes and prays for his family's well being.
-5 weeks later-
Dean's wounds are slowly beginning to heal but, despite this he sleeps very little as he can't help but worry about his family. Raven then comes back into the tent he was in and he looks to her as he asks.
Dean:"Well? Are they ok?"
Raven sighs before telling Dean the things he probably wished he'd have never heard.
Raven:"Sera is in Atlas under the care of one of the butlers. According to him Demetria brought her to him as she couldn't afford on her own to take care of both children."
Dean:"Is she ok?"
Raven:"She's completely ok. Dean, um Demetria didn't make it. I'm sorry."
Dean's whole world had just crumbled away at what Raven had told him. All the great memories he had with her just played through his head as he began to tear up. After a bit of dwelling on this he asks through his tears.
Dean:"What about (y/n)?"
Raven then says.
Raven:"(Y/n)'s been through the ringer but he's alive."
Dean:"What do you mean he's been through the ringer?"
Raven:"His left eye was cut from his skull and he had been living on the streets alone for a year when I found him. For a child his resilience is incredible. I'm not even sure how he managed to survive such a scenario."
Dean:"What did you do with him?"
Raven:"I took him to Alex and told him what happened. He said he would take care of (y/n). He's in good hands Dean."
-present time-
Dean:"After she had told me this I cried for hours. The one person that made me feel like I deserved to be happy, gone and I couldn't do anything about it. After that I swore I wouldn't threaten Sera and your lives by being around."
(Y/n) feels sympathetic as he realizes him and his dad felt the same pain when Demetria died. (Y/n) asked seeing that his father was getting a bit emotional.
(Y/n):"Dad, if it's not too much to ask. What's the best memory you had with mom?"
(Y/n) unbeknownst to his father is using the eye of Balor to see if he was lying. Thus, far he has told the truth. Dean just turns to his son as he says.
Dean:"No, its not too much son. It happened about maybe a week after you and Sera were born."
-18 years ago-
Demetria and Dean are both asleep in their bed with Demetria's back pressed against Dean's chest. They are both laying there in their respective sleepwear; Demetria is wearing light blue pajama pants and a simple white t-shirt, while Dean is wearing red gym shorts and a black t-shirt. They are both comfortable this is obvious due to the smiles on their faces during their sleeping state. This doesn't last very long when from a baby monitor two babies are heard crying. This causes both of them to open their eyes and sigh. Demetria is the first to start getting out of bed only for Dean to grab her arm causing her to turn to him. Dean then says.
Dean:"Hey I got this one. You get some sleep."
Demetria just smiles at her husband before saying.
Demetria:"Thank you."
She then kisses him and lays back down. Dean is walking toward the room the crying is coming from. Upon making it there he goes over to the crib with a baby girl with black wolf ears in it and he picks her up while saying.
Dean:"Hey hey hey. Shhh it's ok daddy's here."
It seems as if the moment he says this to the baby girl she falls back to sleep in his arms. He looks to the other crib after putting Sera back in her crib. Upon looking in he sees a baby boy with white wolf ears who is just throwing a fit. He slowly picks his son up as he says.
Dean:"Hey. It's ok buddy I'm here your good."
(Y/n) isn't having it, he just keeps crying and screaming it's almost as if it's gotten worse. In the midst of this Sera has woken back up due to her brothers crying and began to cry and scream herself. Dean is still trying to get (y/n) to calm down which he is failing in accomplishing. When out of nowhere he hears laughter coming from the doorway. He turns to see the source to see Demetria standing there laughing at his predicament before she walks over to her husband and takes her son from Dean as she says.
Demetria:"Hey. Mommy's here. The big bad wolf can't bother you now."
She says the last sentence to playfully tease her husband. Dean just sticks his tongue out which causes Demetria to giggle. He then walks over to the crib with his daughter in it who is still screaming who he does get to calm down. Thanks to the effort of both of them, (y/n) and Sera both go back to sleeping peacefully. Dean walks up behind Demetria who is looking into (y/n)'s crib with a warm smile before he says.
Dean:"It doesn't seem like he cares for me that much."
Demetria says as she turns to her husband.
Demetria:"He's still a baby, Dean. Plus, boys are very close to their mothers. Once he turns 4 you and him will be best of friends and he'll look up to you. He already looks so much like you."
Dean just smiles and tells his wife.
Dean:"I'm so glad I found you. Y'know that right?"
She just smiles and giggles as he puts his forehead to hers. She follows this up by saying.
Demetria:"I know."
They both kiss gently and quickly before Dean tells her.
Dean:"I love all of you so much."
Demetria:"We love you, too."
-present day-
Dean is choked up with tears in his eyes as he looks to his son and says.
Dean:"Look I..I know that...that you hate me. But I need you to know that I love you son. I always have and it kills me that I couldn't watch you grow up. I woke up every day for the past 11 years hoping I would roll over and see Demetria sleeping next to me or hear you and Sera crying in the next room."
Dean has tears streaming down his face at this point which, has caused (y/n) to also be in tears because now he can tell how much his father cares. Dean presses on by saying.
Dean:"I was a failure as a husband and a father and for that I'm so sorry."
(Y/n) just hugs his dad which catches Dean off guard. Both Dean and (Y/n) are in tears as (y/n) tells his dad in a shaky voice.
(Y/n):"Its...its...it's ok dad. I... um forgive you. And I love you."
Dean then immediately returns the hug to his son while both are crying. For the first time in (y/n)'s life he feels happy at having gotten to meet his dad. He had always thought he would've hated him but, it is abundantly clear to him now his dad loves him just like his mom did and that makes him happy.
