It's so cold....(RWBY Male insert)

Riddles

-dream scape-
(Y/n) finds himself in a forest as he looks to a clearing. Upon looking that direction he sees a pond and an individual in an all black cloak sitting in front of it.

(Looks like this but without clouds and the mask)
(Y/n) has an uneasy feeling about this individual. Their presence is something he knows very well but he can't place a finger on it. The cloaked figure then stands and turns to face (y/n)'s direction. (Y/n) can't see his face as his hood keeps the cloaked mans face a secret. (Y/n) can however make out that he has two red eyes. Then the cloaked man says in a voice that seems devoid of all emotion.
Cloaked man:"Y'know it's not polite to stare at someone who is just enjoying the scenery."
(Y/n) then nervously asks not knowing what to expect.
(Y/n):"Who are you? And why am I here?"
The figure then explains.
Cloaked figure:"My name you already know but you won't figure out until I want you to. As for why you're here. Well, I know you spared Daemon."
(Y/n) just looks at the man completely confused asking.
(Y/n):"How did you.."
(Y/n) is interrupted by the cloaked man saying.
Cloaked figure:"Don't stress your brain, you'll figure it out eventually. Back to the Daemon thing, if you don't mind me asking why did you spare him?"
(Y/n) then said proudly.
(Y/n):"I spared him, because I swore I wouldn't become a monster like him."
The cloaked figure kinda chuckles before saying.
Cloaked figure:"Noble, it truly is, but all you have done is endanger more lives because you wouldn't, nigh couldn't bring yourself to kill that monster."
(Y/n):"What are you talking about?"
The figure then says very bluntly.
Cloaked figure:"(Y/n), by sparing him he's only gonna get more dangerous. You did do a number on him but it took everything you had. The only reason he fell is because he got complacent, he expected so little he held back to drag out the battle."
(Y/n) just stands there as his eyes widen as the figure continues.
Cloaked figure:"He was more than capable of ending you and Blake in a matter of seconds. He underestimated you, that's a luxury you will not be given again. You embarrassed him and he is extremely petty as we both know."
(Y/n) then asks hoping to learn something from the figure.
(Y/n):"Why are you telling me this?!"
The figure then says as he inches closer to (y/n).
Cloaked figure:"It's just some friendly advice that sparing an opponent that is truly evil, will do nothing but humiliate them. A man is at his most dangerous when he is humiliated. Being that Daemon wasn't the most rational to begin with. I can't imagine he'll be any different."
(Y/n) then says defiantly.
(Y/n):"Say what you will but life is sacred and no one has the right to take it."
The figure then asks.
Cloaked figure:"Oh, is that so? Well what happens when it's either that or Blake dies? Then what."
(Y/n) then grips his blade tightly as he says through his teeth.
(Y/n):"Don't you talk about her like that. I would never let anything like that happen."
The figure then pulls out a kunai knife and states calmly.
Cloaked figure:"No need to get hostile. I was just asking a valid question. Look, good and evil are not as simple as black and white or light and dark. Sometimes the best option is to do something you see as evil at the time to keep that same evil from festering and rearing its ugly head later."
(Y/n) looks visibly angry as he shouts at the figure.
(Y/n):"Stop speaking in fucking riddles and tell me why you're here and who you are!!"
The figure then disappears and reappears next to (y/n) as he puts his kunai knife to his neck and says in a very menacing voice.
Cloaked figure:"Fine. In layman's terms I'm saying you can't spare everyone while also protecting everyone. As for your last question, I'll leave you with one more riddle, since I know how much you enjoy them."
He then disappears again to reappear behind (y/n) as he says ominously.
Cloaked figure:"I am the embodiment of hate, fear, and loneliness. My sheer presence sends grimm into a feeding frenzy. Who am I?"
(Y/n) then turns to the figure who is now walking toward the wood line but before the figure leaves he turns to (y/n) and says.
Cloaked figure:"I expect you to have at least a guess when I see you again. Until then, goodbye."
As the figure finishes his statement he snaps his fingers.
-Team RWBY's dorm (about a month after the events of last chapter)-
(Y/n) sits up rather quickly as he does this the rest of his team begins to stir and get ready for the school day.
-Cafeteria-
(Y/n) is completely out of it deep in thought. As he tries to figure out who that person was and why they were being so cryptic. His thoughts are immediately interrupted by Blake shaking him. (Y/n) then shakes his head and asks.
(Y/n):"What's going on?"
Blake then looks at him a little worried and asks him.
Blake:"Are you alright? You seem more out of it than usual."
(Y/n) then responds with.
(Y/n):"Yeah I'm fine I just had a really weird dream."
Yang then makes the situation worse by saying in a playful tone.
Yang:"Was it about Blake?"
Blake and (y/n) then begin to blush at the insinuation Yang had made. Yang sees this and decides to make this even worse by asking.
Yang:"If you two had kids would they be puppies or kittens?"
(Y/n)'s face becomes solid red as he stutters telling Yang.
(Y/n):"That's not ev..even re....remo...remotely what my dream was about!"
Yang just has the biggest grin that she could possibly have as she continues.
Yang:"Was it of you and her doing something embarrassing like....."
Blake then yells at Yang her whole face a deep shade of crimson.
Blake:"YANG!!?!?"
(Y/n) and Blake's faces have achieved the deepest shade of red thanks to Yang. Thankfully, her attention is taken away from (y/n) and Blake as Ruby slams a notebook down as she says.
Ruby:"Sister, friends, and Weiss."
As she finishes this Weiss responds with a annoyed.
Weiss:"Hey!"
Ruby continues on with.
Ruby:"Four score and seven minutes ago, I had a dream."
(Y/n) then says.
(Y/n):"Why do I not like the sound of this."
Once again Ruby presses on saying.
Ruby:"A dream that one day the five of us would come together as a team and have the most fun anyone has ever had ever."
Weiss then asks Ruby.
Weiss:"Did you still my notebook?"
Ruby then answers quickly with.
Ruby:"I'm not a crook."
The Blake asks.
Blake:"What are you talking about?"
Ruby:"I'm talking about starting off this semester with a bang."
This leads Yang to say.
Yang:"I always kick my semester off with a Yang."
(Y/n) just face palms and says.
(Y/n):"That was really bad, Yang."
Ruby then interjects back in with.
Ruby:"Look guys it's been two weeks and between new exchange students arriving and the tournament coming up. Our second semester is gonna be great, but classes start back up tomorrow which is why I have taken the time to set up a series of interesting stuff for us to do today."
(Y/n) at this point has drifted back into his thoughts. Trying to make sense of that hint the cloaked figure gave him. This is once again short lived as he is snapped from his thoughts by Nora yelling.
Nora:"Food fight!!!"
(Y/n) honestly decides he would much rather not be a part of this. As he hides behind a pillar. Once the food fight has resolved itself he walks over to the rest of his team and team JNPR. As he gets there Yang comes through the ceiling landing on top of (y/n). Leading to him just saying simply as his voice is muffled by the ground.
(Y/n):"Ow."
Yang then says.
Yang:"Oh thanks (y/n) for breaking my fall."
(Y/n) then follows up with.
(Y/n):"And thank you for breaking my everything."
At this all the individuals involved begin to laugh. It seems infectious as (y/n) joins in on the laughter.

A/n: That's part 11 finished I hope you guys enjoyed. I'm glad to know you guys have enjoyed up to this point. I would like to thank you guys for all the feedback and votes that have been given, I honestly didn't really expect many people to enjoy my writing. For that I thank all of you so much, the only reason i say this is because this story is closing in on a thousand reads and that blows my mind. Anyways I'll see you guys in part twelve.
