The Ambush

Raven and Dean are standing (in whatever that building is where the spring maiden's relic is) behind Lionheart who is pacing back and forth which prompts Dean to say.
Dean:"Y'know if you look worried it's gonna make it all the more obvious you're betraying them."
Raven:"For god's sake quit fucking pacing. You're like the fucking cowardly lion."
There is then a knock this causes Raven to change into her bird state and Dean to jump up to the upper balcony and put himself out of sight. Dean can't see Qrow enter from where he is but he can hear him speak to Lionheart. Not long after Qrow was talking he hears Lionheart questioning why he brought the students and their weapons. At this Dean thinks to himself.
Dean thoughts:"Dammit Lionheart if they weren't suspicious of you before they definitely are now. Though it is unfortunate the students came."
Not long after he has this thought he hears Ravens daughter ask.
Yang:"Mom?"
After this was said he watches as Raven flies down to in front of where Lionheart was. Thus, Dean decides he might as well make his self known as he opens his eyes of the Witness. Upon doing so he hears the cat faunus that was with his son the first time he came to the tribe ask.
Blake:"Guys?"
Followed by the male cat faunus saying in response.
Seth:"Yeah I know. It got colder. I don't like the feel of this."
Dean just uses his eyes as a vortex appears in the air where his left eye is. It soon drags him into it allowing him to effectively teleport (basically Kamui). He soon appeared beside Raven from another vortex that looks more like a ripple in the world itself. He just stood there with his mask on as he turns to Raven and nods as she opens a portal for Mercury, Emerald, Vernal, and Cinder to come through. As they do this a very big muscled guy enters who has a look of indifference and a horribly scarred roach like faunus with a white bandage wrapped around one of his eyes. As those two enter they close and lock the entrance. Qrow immediately questions the actions of Dean and Raven by asking.
Qrow:"Really? You two are working with them?"
Cinder decides to add her two cents by saying.
Cinder:"Well, the bird and wolf were a relatively new addition. As for the lion he's been wrapped around our finger for quite some time."
Qrow looks up to Lionheart before saying with a true look of betrayal across his face.
Qrow:"You're the reason I couldn't find any of them. You sold all of them out so they could kill them. You bastard!"
Lionheart looks ashamed. At this Cinder says.
Cinder:"Don't feel too bad Lionheart. I'm sure Tyrian and Hazel would've found them eventually."
After this was said everyone begins to battle except two, the roach and Dean. It is very apparent that Dean is deriving no joy from this as he is sitting down with crossed legs on the desk Lionheart was at which causes the lion faunus to ask Dean.
Lionheart:"Aren't you going to fight?"
Dean:"There is no need. I'm not here to battle children. I'm here for my own reasons."
He then notices a boy ascending the stairs with a staff that seems familiar to him. This prompts Lionheart to ask worried.
Lionheart:"Ozpin?"
The boy begins to battle the lion faunus. Dean seems rather bored as he really doesn't seem to have a purpose at this juncture. He just watched as Cinder and her comrades dominate in battle his attention is particularly drawn toward his niece (Weiss) as she is overwhelmed by Vernal. This causes Dean to think to himself.
Dean thoughts:"Hold on a little longer Weiss."
Not long after having this thought he watches as Cinder stands over a blonde boy who seems completely outclassed as compared to her. He then hears the girl with black hair and red tips yell.
Ruby:"No!"
As she does this her eyes begin to fill the room with a blinding white light. Dean unlike the others just grows a smirk rather than seeming worried he jumps down to the bottom floor. Granted the girls power immediately drops as she is hit on the back of her by Emerald. This causes Dean to say to himself.
Dean:"You must be Summer's daughter."
This is something Yang heard and this provokes her to yell at Dean.
Yang:"How do you know about Summer?!?!"
Dean:"Oh I know a lot of people. Trust me on that one."
She doesn't seem pleased with his answer though, this look changes to a face that conveys that of horror. This causes him to turn and see a fire spear that is sticking out of Weiss. He watches as Cinder seems to close her hand and he realizes this will only cause more damage to Weiss. Thus, he uses his right eye and this causes a ripple to form where the spear was as it disappears into the rift. This elicits Cinder turning toward him with a angry expression but, before she can say anything he just says.
Dean:"I thought we were here to gather the spring maidens artifact. Not baby sit a brat hell bent on revenge on children."
Cinder seems even angrier before taking a deep breath and realizing Dean is right and causing her to say.
Cinder:"You're right Dean."
Thus, Dean, Raven, Vernal, and Cinder head into a elevator that was hidden behind the front of the thing Lionheart was standing on. Before they go down he sees Weiss in critical condition and this causes him to think.
Dean thoughts:"I've done as much as I can for now. Sorry."
As they hit the bottom Vernal walks toward this golden door. While she is doing this Raven looks to him and he immediately know what she is thinking as they both readied their weapons. At that moment without warning Cinder stabs Vernal with that arm or hers that is completely black which elicits Raven to yell.
Raven:"Vernal!"
Raven was then frozen by Cinder which prompted Dean to prepare to fight only for Cinder to throw a fire ball at him which connects with something as it exploded. It left nothing behind but a piece of his burning duster and a broken plague doctor mask. At seeing her success Cinder turns her attention back to Vernal as she says.
Cinder:"With both of these maiden powers I'll be unstoppable..."
Cinder looks confused as no power is coming to her prompting her to say.
Cinder:"What where is the maidens power?!"
Raven:"She was never the spring maiden..."
Raven discards her mask showing her eyes have a red glow around them as she says.
Raven:"...I am!"
This causes Cinder to smile and say.
Cinder:"A maiden vs another maiden this ought to be interesting."
There is then a voice that comes from behind Cinder that says.
Dean:"I'm still here too."
This causes her to catch a kick to the face thanks to Dean. A ripple then forms at his left eye causing him to teleport next to Raven causing her to say.
Raven:"For a second there I thought you might have been to slow with those eyes."
Dean just smirks as he looks down his left side where the fire ball had actually connected which had burned away a good portion of the top left of his duster and says.
Dean:"It was close I admit but I still had plenty of time. Plus, you know me I love being theatrical. Now, Cinder you will pay for what you've done."
