It's so cold....(RWBY Male insert)

The Search

(Y/n) wakes up the next morning to see Yang laying with her back to him. Not wanting to get up right now (y/n) wraps both his arms around his currently sleeping girlfriend and pulls her to closer to him. This actually causes her to wake in a slight daze and she realizes what he's doing so she decides to help by scooting herself backwards so that they can cuddle with her back pressed against his chest. They both just smile and close their eyes once again enjoying their current position. They get to remain like this for about ten minutes until there is a knock at the door followed by Ruby asking.
Ruby:"Yang. (Y/n). You guys awake in there?"
They both audibly groan before Yang calls out saying.
Yang:"Yeah we're awake."
Ruby:"Well when you two both get ready Dean wants us all to meet in the room next door."
Yang:"Ok we'll be there in a little bit."
Ruby:"Ok see ya then."
They both hear footsteps leading away signifying that Ruby had walked off prompting Yang and (y/n) to get up and get dressed. The two then go next door to be greeted by Demetria who says.
Demetria:"Morning (y/n) and I would presume you are Yang."
(Y/n):"Morning."
Yang:"Morning and yes I'm Yang it's nice to meet you Mrs... um..."
Demetria:"My names Demetria. I'm (y/n)'s mother."
Yang:"Wait..."
She turns to (y/n) before continuing by asking.
Yang:"I thought you said your mother died when you were little?"
(Y/n):"She did but, when I got to Vacuo she was also kinda here. I don't know how or why and neither does she."
Yang just says.
Yang:"Well regardless it's great to meet you. (Y/n) has said a lot of great things about you."
Demetria:"Likewise."
(Y/n) and Yang then continue to walk into room and sees everyone else sitting in the living room area. They spend a while getting reacquainted, most of which were quickly catching up with (y/n). Eventually Dean and Raven brief everyone on the plan to retrieve the winter maiden and her artifact. After that Dean begin to explain his plan.
Dean:"Ok so I'm thinking we split into two different groups. Group A will consist of Teams RWBY, JNR, Seth, and Raven. They will go retrieve Ymir. Group B will consist of Team VYNS, Demetria, and myself. Our job will be to go talk with the headmaster of Shade and protect the artifact room, while group A gathers Ymir. Any questions?"
Ruby:"If we're some of the only ones that know about Ymir then why are we leaving people to protect the artifact?"
(Y/n):"Salem has powerful pawns across the world it's really the best precaution we can take. That is if she hasn't already gotten her hands on Ymir's power."
Weiss:"You think they might already have that power?"
(Y/n):"No idea, but I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility. If they do we have to fight as much as we can to make sure they don't obtain the artifact."
Dean:"Anyone else? Alright then let's move."
Everyone gathers their gear and heads out. Before leaving (y/n) hugs Yang and says.
(Y/n):"Be careful."
Yang:"You too."
The two separate their hug and go to their respective teams as they set off for their different destinations. While walking Yang has been talking with her friends while Raven is leading the group. Ruby then says to Yang something she wasn't expecting to hear.
Ruby:"So Yang do you think (y/n)'s the one?"
Ruby said this in a teasing fashion which causes Yang to immediately blush at her question before responding in a stutter.
Yang:"Um... I... um... I don't know Ruby."
Weiss:"Your reaction says otherwise."
She continues the teasing before Yang says while blushing even further.
Yang:"Teasing is my thing stop it!"
This causes both Weiss and Ruby to giggle before Weiss says.
Weiss:"You two make a great couple. Maybe it's something you should think about."
Ruby:"Yeah plus, (y/n) seems to love you a lot too."
Yang just giggles slightly at her sister's enthusiasm and says.
Yang:"Trust me guys I've thought about it a lot. I just don't know exactly how he would feel about it."
Ruby and Weiss don't get to respond to this as they are now before a house as Raven says.
Raven:"We're here."
She goes to the door and knocks though she gets no answer. Thus, she kicks in the door to see the whole house is a mess. It doesn't long for her to see a woman with black hair and blue highlights with jaded dark blue eyes. Raven can tell just by looking at her she is dead but, hasn't been for long. They then hear a man cough and groan in pain they turn to see a man sitting in the corner holding his stomach. Ruby walks up to him and asks.
Ruby:"Are you ok?"
???:"No... What about Ymir?"
Ruby:"Hey focus on me right now let me see..."
Ruby gasps as she moves the mans hand from his stomach to see a slash mark revealing some of his innards. She then jumps up and begins to gag. Raven then looks at him and asks.
Raven:"What happened Sam?"
Sam:"Three people came here saying they needed to talk to Ymir. Next thing I know I get slashed by a sword and..."
He looks to Raven hopeful before seeing her eyes that tell him Ymir didn't make it. This causes him to say.
Sam:"First Demi and Alex now me and Ymir. Well at least I can see all my friends on the other side."
He then chuckles lightly as his eyes close and he falls limp. Raven then turns to everyone and says.
Raven:"We have to get back now!"
