Sidd's POV

Sunday morning. Happiest day of my week. Who didn't like Sundays ? I was currently scrolling down to see my instagram feed after taking a shower. My stomach started to grumble. Time to see what Tanya AKA my friend was doing. Ahahahha, thanks for indirectly making us friends Dahlia, I owe you hehehe. I went out of my room and noticed her room door was closed. My hands cupped around the doorknob before I remembered. I knocked the door twice. "Come in," I heard her muffled voice before opening the door. Already learnt my lesson, not gonna repeat it again. I opened the door to find her wearing a pair of grey shorts and a turquoise coloured plain tshirt. She was sitting down on the bed with her legs crossed and eyes glued to her phone. She tucked a strand of her curly behind her ears before looking up at me and smiled genuinely. She smiled... "Yo wanna go out for breakfast again?" I asked. But I sounded too excited for my own liking. Oh god. "Um sure," she stood up and folded her arms. She raised an eyebrow before starting to tap her feet. What? " Bruh, I need to change right?" she replied. I keep having this habit of voicing my thoughts out loud. My bad. "Oh-um- right, I'll go now," I embarrassed myself before exiting the room. Seriously? When have I stuttered around women? It was always the other way round. I mentally shook my head.

Tanya's POV

This time I wore a dark blue shirt and a light blue skinny jeans. I tucked in my buttoned up shirt a bit and let my hair loose. Done. I left the room and saw Sidd waiting for me. He was speechless for a second as he eyed me from top to bottom. He did that a lot nowadays. But then again I probably looked at him the same way, just that I was more subtle about it. He was wearing a classic black tee with the quote "just do it" and a pair of beige coloured jeggings. " Let's get going," he hurried to the door while I followed him. The whole walk was just so silent and Sidd constantly sped up for no reason. Awkward.

We stepped inside the hawker centre and various type of smells caught my attention as I took in the sight of the crowded place. "Let's meet at this table," he said pointing to the table to our far left. "Okay," I went to search for my favourite Chinese vegetarian food.

I was carrying my tray of food to see Sidd already settling down with his food. He bought biryani and some other drink I couldn't recognise. Soon I settled down with my own food before trying to "break the ice".

" Do you wanna watch any movie later? It's been months since I watched one," I started. His eyes lit up.

" Sure, I would love that. It been like a few weeks since I watched a movie too, guess I need to unwind and catch up with a movie haha," he grinned.

" what movie do you wanna watch? Let's go to a movie of your choice," I smirked. Don't ask me why, I don't know either.

" Let's watch IT"

Shit.

" Uh no... anything except that one,"

"My choice, remember ?" It was his turn to smirk.

What.

Backfired.

I had no other choice. "I am a bit afraid of horror movies," I finished sheepishly and looked up from my food to meet his face. He started laughing. Laughing? "You know, you *laughter* you look so cute *laughter* when you are confused," leaving me even more confused. What did he just say? He abruptly stopped laughing after realising what he said. His gaze never met mine and his face turned pink again. What's with him blushing like this everytime?!? It's making me feel weird... like- okay, I donno how to explain. URGH. I wanted him to stop blushing. " Any other movie pllleeaassee?" I tried. " Nope," he was stifling his laughter. This creature is annoying, I swear. "It's okay, I am there with you remember?" He chuckled. "Whatever," I sighed and relented. Gonna be a long day.
