Sidd's POV

She didn't even come out of the room for dinner. I even tried knocking at her door but I just heard a muffled reply of 'leave me alone'. What did I do? I was lying down on my bed but I just couldn't sleep. Nothing feels right. The way I feel for her and the way I was angry with Josh and just basically angry with this whole situation. It's just..... not me. I donno if what I feel towards her is friendship anymore. It scares me. The scarier thing is, if I really do like her in that way, she would never ever return that feeling back to me. She hates me. It took me a millennium to break her wall of solicit and talk to her normally. But further breaking the other walls around her? Can't even think about it. Thing is, do I even truly like her in that way or am I just imagining things? Maybe I was not even jealous of them. Maybe I was just angry as I felt left out. URGH this is so confusing.

I needed a distraction and I did the first thing that came to my mind. I opened the door and lazily strolled out to see Tanya sitting on the sofa. I could only see her back from my position and I heard quiet but uncontrollable sobs. I moved over to sit beside Tanya. What now? Talk to her? "Tanya," I voiced out as gently as I could. Her eyes met mine as I tentatively placed a hand on her shoulder. "What?" She snapped and gave me an icy glare. What was I going to say? I felt myself clearing my throat before continuing. "You know you can share anything with me right? I am not very good at comforting others but I can still understand you and help you as much as I can?..." that was more of question. Her expression turned into a grimace. Grimace? I gulped.

"Oh so now you think you can go all gentleman on me and take advantage of my weakness, huh? I don't even understand what you people think. Like seriously? You really think I will fall for that and tell you about him and basically show myself as weak? You thought I was that pathetic?" I was too stunned to reply. Why would she ever think that? Why does she always need to assume things? She wiped the teardrops on her left cheek and spoke up again. "All of you are the same. What did I expect? I should have never talked to you or him. Never." She let out a short humorless laugh. Probably because I looked taken aback. " You surprised I found out your facade? Now stop acting and leave me alone," she gritted through her teeth. I did nothing wrong.

" Just stop it. I can't handle it anymore. What do you actually think of yourself? You keep assuming. Like 'oh he's trynna charm me' 'oh he's fake' and I seriously don't get it. Who are you to judge me? I just thought you needed a friend cuz you had no one else to talk through this shit with. And I guess this is how you pay me back. So okay, fine. I will stop trying to talk to you and give up. Cuz for one thing, I hate you just as much you hate me," I could feel the roughness of my teeth as I gritted through them. Now it was her turn to look taken aback. Her black eyes widened and her lips were quivering even more. Strands of her black hair looked a bit brown under the light in the living room and she looked so beautiful. Another fresh tear dribbled across her right cheek and I just wanted to wipe it off and tell her, "no, I do not hate you, in fact, it could possibly be the opposite," but all I did was walk out of the situation and slam my room door upon entering inside.
