Tanya's POV
What is this? Awkward meeting no.2?!? Josh came over because apparently we had to "talk things out" according to the idiotic Sidd who is now giving the cold shoulder to Josh. Why? Probably because Josh was the reason why his so called "secret" was exposed. What does he want to talk about now? There's nothing to talk about when everything is so obvious. I can't believe I'm wasting my time here. Goodness gracious. "What now?" I couldn't stand the silence so I started the conversation first. "Would you mind telling her the truth now?" Both of them were holding a staring contest. Sidd's face was slowly turning red and Josh was losing his cool demeanour, and he never ever lost his shit before. Wait, what truth? I am definitely missing something. "The truth's already out. Don't you dare deny it," Josh' tone dripped with anger.
"Please tell me what is going on?" I tried again. And failed as they were continuing their staring contest yet again. I gave up. I turned away when Josh gripped my wrist. "Tanya, Sidd wants me to tell you that what I said was not true even though it is," he finished. So that's what this is. I turned around and caught sight of Sidd fuming. "Seriously? Are you that desperate now? Tanya, I swear to god whatever he told you it's BS just believe-" "And how do you expect me to believe this?" His head shot up in surprise and it was sadness that engulfed his features. His eyes softened and he looked into my eyes, searching beneath it. His mouth slightly parted due to the shock that I didn't believe him. Why would I believe him again? Frustration took over his features and he closed his eyes, took a deep breath and looked at me again. "Let's ask Dahlia then, she will be here soon anyway." As soon as those words left Sidd's mouth, I could hear the jingling of keys. Dahlia was here.
"Um guys? Didn't know we were going to be gathered here or something... am I interrupting something?" She questioned with uncertainty. Her makeup made her face too white and I would have mistaken her for a ghost if I had actually been too sleepy and wasn't observant enough. "Absolutely not Dahlia, am I a womanizer? Did I force you to do anything? Because these people here are saying that I did those things," Sidd asked her with such an eerie calmness it was unsettling. "Dahlia, don't be afraid and don't be ashamed okay? Just tell us the truth so that Tanya won't be falling for his charms," Josh held desperation in his eyes and he looked like he was pleading Dahlia to say the truth.
"Uh no? Why would Sidd do that?...."
