I rolled under my warm blanket, my eyes shut tight as I nuzzle my head into my pillow, it was comfortable and that's what I liked the most. After a tiring day at school, and having constant battles between a mass amount of school work and hanging out with Nancy and Jonothan, it's hard to stay energized when I return home.
But as always, I was expecting the small knock on my window. The one that always appeared when it hit midnight or when both our parents were sleeping, he always showed up outside of my window with a smoke hanging in his mouth and a smirk on his face.
I rolled out of bed, rubbing my eyes tiredly as I struggled to wake myself up for the sake of his company. Sure enough when I gained most of my energy back, Billy was slightly squatting outside of my window on the roof.
He flashed me a grin when he saw me unlocking my window and pushing it up for him to enter my bedroom.
'Evening baby' He cooed as he planted a quick kiss on my lips, he tasted of cigarettes which was typical, he can smoke a whole pack in a day if he wanted to.
'Hi Billy' I murmur as he steps into my room and goes over to sit on the edge of my bed, he slips off his shoes and shirt, leaving him in his blue jeans and lays back on my bed, his back pressed against the headboard while his his arms opened.
'C'mere' He demands, but I just block my mouth with my palm as his smoke blows everywhere in my room.
'Could you put that out first, please?' I say quietly and he groans before rolling off of the bed and going over to the window. He takes a few drags before blowing out the smoke and smudging the cigarette into the outside of my windowsill and disposing of it.
On his way back from the window, he grasps onto my wrist and pulls me onto the bed with him. His back pressed against the headboard while his legs were spread open for me to lay down between them. My head rested on his chest while his hands rested on my hips. While we laid down they occasionally gripped onto my hips, his hands slowly inched their way to my inner thighs and I knew what his intentions were.
But before he could try to move any material out of the way, my hands grasp his wrists.
'Not right now, I'm not...in the mood' I whisper tiredly, causing him to groan before he retreats his hands back to my hips.
'Maybe later, okay baby' I say softly as I lean my head back onto him and listen to his slow breathing, he sighs heavily before removing hands from my hips onto my waist as he turns me around so I'm straddling him.
'Sure princess' he mumbles before resting his head down on my chest, his cheek pressed against my breasts while his arms snaked around my torso. He just listened to my heart beat while his eyes were shut, it was peaceful in the room, and neither of us wanted to break it. But after ten minutes of doing this we shifted so the two of us were laying underneath the blanket, Billy's body pressed against mine while one his arms draped over my body.
I shouldn't have let this whole thing happen in the first place. What had started out as an innocent friendly gesture turned into a nightly ritual. It was like he'd just make up any excuse to come over and sneak in through my window at night.
Billy Hargrove and I are neighbour's, our families have been tight ever since the Hargrove's first moved next door, and that was the day I discovered Billy Hargrove and his step-sister Max. The truck was loud as it beeped into their driveway, instantly causing my mother to run out and greet them with the wide smile she always wore, and the overly friendly gestures she used when she met new people.
That was just the start of the relationship with their family, they would come over for dinner most nights and I would be forced to talk to Billy and his step sister Max, it was very awkward at first, but as time went on, we grew closer, and acted as neighbour's should. Friendly and civil, but one night things grew more for Billy and I when I discovered him lightly knocking on my window at 2.30 in the morning.
After talking to him a few times before when his family visited, he decided he trusted me enough to sneak into my bedroom and talk to me about his problems, that's all he did. He just talked to me about his problems which usually involved his unhealthy relationship with his dad, and his distaste for his step mother and sister.
I was there to listen to him, and I was his shoulder to cry on when his dad's words and hits were too much for him to handle, I would be there to listen. But as the weeks went by, the visits from Billy became more frequent, and sometimes he'd just come over to sleep with me.
Most nights we have sex, and sometimes we just kiss and cuddle, other nights he comes over when he's upset and just talks and sleeps in my bed. It seemed like a normal relationship, but there was one problem.
During the day and at school, Billy acted as if I didn't exist.
