Everything was a mess, the group of people circling around the two of them just grew and I had to squeeze my way through, Jordan was right behind me and kept his hand on mine loosely. Steve and Billy were still shouting at each other, and I was completely lost at what they were arguing about, but I heard enough parts to know it was about me.

'If you didn't get involved none of this shit would've happened!' Steve exclaims and they pace around in circles, and Billy seeths as he pulls his denim jacket off and throws it away.

'She was my girlfriend first! And you know what, none of this would've fücking happened if you agreed to get along and let me take her to prom' Billy shouts, his body glistening with sweat and alcohol, I could tell he was intoxicated and probably drank before this, and unfortunately, Steve was slightly drunk too. I stood there with a dumbfounded look on my face at Billy's statement.

'Wait, what are you talking about Billy?' I question and they both turn to me, they keep their mouths shut and just awkwardly stare at me, both stubborn to reveal what they've been hiding from me for weeks.

'No point shutting up now, tell me' I say a bit louder because the group of people and music blaring from the house made it harder.

'Fine, a few weeks ago I asked Steve to let me take you to prom' Billy says and I cross my arms over my chest and walk forward.

'That's what you were hiding from me? I told you no Billy and you promised you'd leave Steve and I alone, you seriously did this again-' I say and before Steve could jump in and agree with me, I turned to him with a pissed off look on my face.

'You're not off the hook either, you should've just told him no! Better yet, if he was harassing you, you should've just told me and I'd handle it, you didn't have to go through all this trouble Steve!' I exclaim and everyone around me started to cheer and make noise, they were loving this but I was too angry to tell them to get lost, but Jordan was making an effort for me and begin to steer most of them away from us.

'You'll always choose him! I've never been an option to you, never. It's always Billy Hargrove, you'll always pick him over me, I'm just the second option to you and we all know it' Steve shouts and I feel a pang of guilt in my chest, but I brushed my hair back and shook my head.

'That's not true' I say in denial.

'Yes it is' Steve argues.

'No it's not'

'Yes it is Emilia, and that's why I went through this whole thing with Billy, I knew that if I let you go with him to prom, you'll just run back to him' Steve says, his voice softening at the end of his sentence, and his eyes droop slightly as he brushes his hair out of his face, I almost forgot he was slightly intoxicated.

'God-Steve' I whisper as I walk toward him and take his hand in mine and caress it, but he pulls away and shakes his head before looking past me.

'You still wanna fight?' Steve questions as Billy glares hard at him and he moves foward and I groan.

'I'll beat your ass again Harrington' Billy says and the group around us begin to chant and cheer as Billy moves closer.

'No, the two of you are not doing this' I say as I create a barrier between the two of them, but they continue to shout and curse at each other from around me and I try my best to stop them. But Jordan senses that I needed a bit of help and interfered.
