Emilia
'Uh- Billy, it's me Emilia' I breath out, and as soon as he hears my voice I hear him scoff. I could just imagine the look on his face on the other side of the phone, the smug satisfied look on his face. He's going to make fun of me, but at least he hasn't hung up yet.
'Aren't you on a date with ass face Aaron?' He spits.
'I know, I am we're at his friends house and they're all just so strange and making me feel really uncomfortable with their jokes, and I've tried so many people but they're all busy, and I can't stand being here for a few more hours, please Billy can you pick me up' I rant into the phone and I just hear him chuckle deeply, he was going to ridicule me for sure, and probably rub it in my face.
'And why should I feel obligated to picking you up Emilia?' He says coldly into the phone and I let look around to check if Aaron or anyone else had come into the room yet, luckily they were all busy talking in the living room.
'Please Billy, please you're the only one that can help me...please' I beg into the phone, and I know I've convinced him when he sighs heavily into the phone.
'What's the address?' He questions, and I give it to him quickly, double checking that no one else had spotted me.
'I'm coming to get you, just hold on okay?' Billy says before he hangs up, I quickly leave the phone and make my way back to the living room, where Aaron waited on his seat with a spot for me, I give him a fake smile and sit down, making sure I leave a gap between our bodies.
'What took you so long?' Aaron questioned, and I lie through my teeth while my eyes watched the clock ticking on the wall.
'Oh, just fascinated by the kitchen ware' I say and he just nods and continues to talk to his friends.
I sat there with my head leant on my hand, while I watched them with a bored look on my face. Robert, one of the guys was busy talking about his first trip on his parents yatch, and how extravagant the mountain tops were, I felt like falling asleep on the spot. But I had to keep my ears opened for the sound of Billy's Camaro.
So I sucked it up for another half an hour, before I could hear the loud engine roaring and the rock music blasting out of the car, Billy was here and I jumped out of my seat, causing Aaron to give me a weird look.
'I-uh need to go toilet' I say quietly and he just nods before directing me on where it is, I pretend like I take in the directions before scurrying off to the front hallway and pull the door open. I was more than relieved to see Billy leaning on his Camaro with a half finished cigarette in his mouth.
I run down from the front door stairs and basically collapse in Billy's arms. I wrap my arms around Billy's waist and I squeeze him tightly as I breath in his strong cologne.
'Thank you' I mumble into his chest and I feel his arm drape around my shoulders and he pushed me into his body.
'Let's hit the road' He mumbles before pulling away and hopping back into the car.
The wind blew through my hair as Billy drove down the dark road, his music playing loudly as he sang along to it and tapped on the wheel vigorously. I looked over at him and admired the view, his blonde hair slightly messy, his bright blue eyes focused on the road ahead of us, he just looked like perfection. But he was far from it, and we weren't in the best place right now.
'Was the party that bad huh?' Billy says as he turns down the radio to talk, I shuffle into the door as I answer with blushed cheeks.
'Yes, it was horrible. It was a little get together with his snobby friends' I mumble, causing Billy to laugh loudly, and I turn to face him.
'Looked like a typical rich asshole, doubt his friends would be different' Billy says and I just sigh before leaving him to drive us home. I didn't know whether he wanted to talk or not, and if he still had a bone to pick with me, but I guess not since he left his radio off.
'Did you go out with him to make me jealous?' Billy asks, his voice strained, almost as if he was struggling to talk to me. I hesitate to talk, on one hand I could answer truthfully and say yes, or I could lie and avoid being yelled at.
'I won't lash out at you, I promise, I just want to know' Billy sighs out and I feel my heart swell at how soft he sounded, for once he was actually calm about everything, and I didn't know how to feel about it.
'Yeah, I did' I mumble and I hear Billy chuckle lightly.
'Yeah, well it worked until you called me to pick you up early' Billy jokes and I began to laugh.
'Well, it was very shitty' I state, and the atmosphere around us changed, it was warm and felt comforting for once. It wasn't tense like how it usually felt between Billy and I, and I could tell Billy felt it too.
'I want to take you somewhere to talk, about everything' Billy says quietly, waiting for confirmation from me, and I decided that if we could have closure, then right now would be the perfect time.
'I'd like that' I say as I lean my head on the window and let him turn his music back up and drive me to wherever he had in mind.
