When I first started this book at the end of 2017, not once did I think it would even get this much reads, I literally didn't ever imagine my story getting more than 1k to be honest. But the numbers don't matter, it's the support that I've recieved that's been the best part of this story. That sounds hella cheesy but it's true.
Over the last pretty much two years, I've recieved some really lovely messages about my writing and this book, and it's given me the confidence to contiue writing. Your guys support of this book has helped me reached this milestone and I just want to thank you all for taking time out of your day to vote and read this book ♡ Reading your personal messages and comments on this book make my day, and I'm still shook that people actually enjoy this book. I know how it feels binge reading a story to the point where you have to sleep just to wake up so you can continue reading it. It's so crazy to me that some people want to do that with this book, but it makes me so fricken happy.
Although the majority of the comments and messages on this story are really positive, I have noticed some that are negative, but I understand the reason why completely.
The way I depicted Billy's character in this story was very toxic, and now that I read back on some parts of this book, I do realise that I did make him a bit too domineering. I really hate that I made him so toxic but I was just basing it off of how Billy is in Stranger Things, and he is an asshole in the show, that's nothing new. But yeah I tried to make his character development make up for his toxic behavior in this book, but I'm really sorry if his behavior in this book made you feel uncomfortable in anyway, that genuinely wasn't my intention, I just wanted to depict Billy as accurately as possible.
But anyway, thank you all fricken much for the support with this book. It's just as much as yours as it is mine, and I've enjoyed writing it so much. I appreciate you all, thank you for being on this journey with me, the come up has been real lmao ❤
