'So this is the cafeteria, believe me, it's not worth eating in' Nancy says to Aaron as we show him the doors to the cafeteria, he nods as he takes in the information. We continue down the hallway, but I keep my distance a bit, just to give him a bit of space. But he seemed like he was fine with the school so far, he'd just have to wait until he met the students.

'There are the only set of bathrooms in school, so make sure you keep a tab on the location' I say as we pass the boys bathroom.

We walked Aaron around for the first period of class, we were aloud to skip it so we could tour him around the school and show him what classes were where, and where his classes were. He seemed to be taking in the information well. But he was very curious.

'So, what classes do you two have?' He questioned and we shared which classes we took, and unfortunately he noticed that we shared most of our classes together, all of those being the same I shared with Billy.

'That's great, so you could maybe help me in those classes until I settle in right?' Aaron suggests and I plaster on a fake smile before nodding.

'Yeah, maybe I could' I say lightly, he just gives me a smile and we continue to walk. Aaron is a good looking guy, he had sharp features and a warm smile with dimples, he was clean cut and had smooth short hair. He wasn't rugged like Billy, and he seemed kind, but he was just not Billy.

'So, Emilia how is a pretty girl like you not taken?' Aaron pipes up randomly causing me to snap out of my daydream with a confused look, and a small smile to grow on Nancy's face.

'How do you know I'm not taken Aaron?' I say and he stumbles over his words for an answer.

'O-oh I just thought, you know-' Aaron stumbles and I just let out a chuckle before I give him a reassuring look.

'I'm joking, I just don't bother' I respond lamely and he nods at my answer, his cheeks still painted pink from me putting him on the spot.

We finished up showing him around, we explained everything he needed to know, and everything we thought he should know, and he seemed to take it in very quickly, which was very good, because we didn't need to explain alot to him when we let him go to his locker.

'I'll see you next period, in English right?' Aaron says to me and I nod with a forced smile on my face, and I hum in confirmation. Aaron walked off down the hallway, and as soon as he was out of sight, Nancy nudged me with her elbow.

'He totally likes you, did you hear how many questions he was firing at you. It was like a dating sight-' Nancy laughs and I slap her on the shoulder playfully.

'More like an interrogation' I mumble as we hear the bell ring and walk off to look for Jonothan.

His eyes burned on the sight of Aaron sitting next to me, his chair practically touching mine and our shoulders grazing, every now and then I would shuffle away, but Aaron would always end up inching closer to me until our bodies touched. The combination of him rambling on and the feeling of Billy glaring at us, made this English period feel very slow.

'So we have to read this book and pick out the important chapters to write an essay on?' Aaron questions and I glance over his head to see Billy leaning back in his chair, his arms folded tight across his chest as he stared intensely at us.

'Basically, yeah' I mumble as I look down at my notes and scribble down anything to make it look like I was too busy to talk to him. As sad, and as shallow as it sounded, I didn't want to talk to Aaron, not because he was new, but because Billy looked like he was going to kill him.

'Are you doing anything after school?' Aaron questions as the end of the class nears, and I shut my book and give him and sympathetic look.

'Uh yeah, I'm going with my friend Jonothan to his house, helping him out with some records and stuff' I say, which wasn't exactly a lie, Jonothan and I were going to go drop off Nancy and then go to some record store, so it wasn't a complete lie. I hear Billy snicker behind us, and I snap my head around to look at him, he had been eaves dropping, which was typical.

'Oh okay, that's alright. How about tomorrow?' He questions and I nod as the bell rings, and I give him a small smile.

'Sure, we'll see'

For the rest of the week, I had to deal with Aaron constantly following me around and asking me questions on what types of guys I've dated, and what traits I liked in guys. He was just always on my back about it, which was flattering, I must admit, but it was getting pretty repetitive.

Not to mention the fact that Billy would make out with some girl in English class. Along with Aaron jabbering, I had to listen to their lips smacking and their groans behind me. It was like a living nightmare, and Nancy nor Jonothan were around to save me.

'Oh Billy' the girl who was nicely propped on his lap moaned as he let wet kisses on her jaw, I could tell he was doing this on purpose. Loudly making out while occasionally glancing at me to check if I noticed him.

'Hey, are you free this afternoon?' Aaron questions while he scribbles down on his pages, I take a listen to Billy kissing the girl behind me and I look into Aaron's request.

'What are you planning?' I question and he looks at me with a genuine smile on his face.

'I-I don't know, maybe something like a date but it's at a get together, with my friends-' he says and I hear the kissing fest behind us stop, Billy was eavesdropping on our conversation again.

'But if that's too much, it can just be a friendly thing, I just thought-' He ranted nervously.

'Sure, I'll come with you tonight' I say and I see a look of relief wash over him, he starts to drone on about how tonight was going to be planned out, and I felt like hitting my head against the table, what in the world am I getting myself into.
