Heyyyyyy, so I'm the author of this book and as you've seen I usually leave my little notes at the end of the chapters- usually '- D ♡' and I say something like a fan girl rant (I know you're probably thinking, can you fan girl over your own work) Well yeah I do all the time, but I'm just going to talk about something important to me.
On my Prologue I state what my book is about, and my opinion on Billy and etc (If you've come this far into my story y'all already read it) And basically a girl, who's username I won't put up because that's petty and immature thing to do, had alot to say about her opinion on my story, and what she thought about Billy Hargrove.
I have no problems at all with opinions, we all have different opinions on different things and I accept everyone's opinion on my book, but you do not have a say on who I should be a fan of, and who I should write a fan fiction about.
It's my own personal choice that I like this character, it doesn't matter if you don't like him, you can despise him for all I care. But to go out of your way to comment on someone else's story, that they write for their own personal preference, and basically 'drag' their story and their opinion is a shit thing to do.
You don't need to state openly that you don't like that character just to be spiteful, I don't need your comments on my book, it's my choice and I'm sure it's the same to many others who like a character like Billy Hargrove. If liking these characters is such a sin, then why is it a common thing to do, everyone has different opinions on who they choose to like, and who they choose to dislike. We don't all like squeaky clean characters who are perfect, and that should be fine.
So to the girl who commented on my prologue;
You should accept everyone's opinion on characters like Billy, and at the end of the day, you should respect the fact that I like his character, and that we may not agree with you on everything, but I don't appreciate you commenting on my story and apparently claiming to 'try to help take it down' At the end of the day, I didn't write this story for you, I wrote it for myself, and the enjoyment of others who like Billy Hargrove.
And as I state in my prologue, if you don't feel comfortable reading my story, then you don't need to read it. Just leave it alone, and don't read it and it's fine, you don't have to associate at all with my story. But please to you and anyone else who gives me shit for liking Billy Hargrove, don't judge me and others who like Billy Hargrove's character, and other characters similar to him. We have the right to like whoever we want, as do you.
We don't need to explain why we like these characters to anybody.
But, genuinely I am sorry if my story offends you and goes against your opinion, but you can just leave it, like I state on my very first chapter, you don't need to read my story at all and I'm not forcing you to. Just keep on going with your life, and read the stories you like and prefer and I'll stick to mine :))
I'm sorry this isn't a chapter, but I needed to write about this but on a brighter note...
Thank you all so much for the support and love you've given me for my story, I can't belive I'm at 40k right now on my book! To think when I started this story I legit thought I'd get no reads, your positive comments and votes and just you reading my book in general, makes me so freakinggg happy!!
To every reader who takes time out of their day to read my book, I love you so much!♡ I mean it when I say I appreciate your support for my story, and just want to say a big big big thank you from me - D ♡
