Emilia

When I was younger, my parents and I would sometimes play hide and seek, and since I was an only child they decided that maybe if they involved me in games with them, I wouldn't feel lonely or left out, which was fine because most of the time I would play with Steve, but they wanted to spend some family time together.

So I would hide in really dark spaces and wait for minutes until the two of them finally gave up on looking for me, and I would crawl out from my hiding spot and surprise them. But while I would wait in my spot, I would always get this feeling, an odd feeling that frightened me, and made me see my parents in a different way.

I would feel helpless and small, almost scared of my parents, who were clearly still my parents, but seemed like predators that would hunt me down during the game,  and I'd always get this feeling when I hid in my hiding spots. The feeling would occur when I'd hear my father's footsteps outside of my closet, or my mum's cooing as she tiptoed around my bedroom.

Right now, I was getting that feeling again as I peered out of the living room window, with Max and the other boys watching with me as Billy's Camaro raced up the driveway, I could hear his music loud and clear from my spot, and I was praying he wouldn't see me.

I watched as he pushed his car door open and stepped out, then Steve emerged from the front door step and walked toward him, causing me to bite my lip when they started to talk, and fortunately they were loud enough for us to hear.

At first they were talking about Max, Billy described her to Steve and questioned if she was here, or if he had seen her around, but Steve denied and claimed he didn't know what Billy was talking about. And of course since Billy had a distaste for Steve Harrington, he didn't believe him and kept pressuring him to give an answer.

We watch intensely as Billy smokes his cigarette, his tongue poking out of his mouth as he blew away the white smoke from his lips, then he lets out a deep chuckle before he throws the cigarette beside him and lets it burn out.

'Harrington, let's just cut the shit, where's Emilia?' Billy questions, almost as low as a growl, and I tense as the subject is changed to me, I was praying he wouldn't spot be peering over the window pane, but we all raised our heads to get a better listen.

'She's not here either' Steve states in a matter of fact manor, and crosses his arms to stand his ground, but Billy just scoffs.

'My girl is in there, and I know it. So just move out of my fücking way and I'll just take her and leave, simple as that' Billy states, over simplifying what his plan was, but I knew he didn't just mean that, before he could grab me and leave he was going to do some damage, and I wanted to avoid anyone getting hurt at all costs.

'Your girl?' Steve scoffs at the title, causing Billy to chuckle lowly.

'She's my girl, and I ain't fücking leaving here without her' Billy says, and we watch as Steve shakes his head and lets out a sarcastic laugh.

'Were you dropped too much on your head as a child or what? I told you they're not here' Steve says confidently as he stands up against Billy, and I silently cheer him on as he does. But I forgot about one thing, all of our faces were in frame of the window, and since we were too busy trying to eavesdrop, we forgot to duck down.

I felt my heart race as his intensely blue eyes caught onto mine, and I saw the familiar grin grow on his face as he shook his head.

'Then who's that?' Billy says as he points to the window, causing Steve to twist around and face us while we all drop from the window and crawl down onto the couch.

'Shit, do you think he saw us?' Dustin says as we try to hide, but before I could even move from my spot, Billy kicked the door open, causing Max and the boys to run across the room by the kitchen. Billy turns to me when he enters the house, and I scramble to my feet as he steps toward me.

'You could've called me, do you know how worried I've been!' Billy shouts and I brush my hand through my hair and try to look him dead in the face. He was pissed, and I could see it on his face.

'I know, but what the hell was I going to say?!' I argue back, causing him to laugh sarcastically at my statement.

'Oh I don't know, I'm going to betray you and run off with dip shit Steve for two days!' Billy shouts back as he steps closer to me, and I take a step back to create a space between us.

'I didn't betray you, Steve's my friend Billy, and I've told you that a thousand times!' I exclaim.

'Then tell it to me once more, and after that, you're never going to see that prick again, do you hear me?!' Billy shouts and I let out a frustrated groan before throwing my arms in the air.

'You always do this! And I'm fücking sick of it Billy, you act like you're the only guy I'm aloud to know since you're my boyfriend!' I shout angrily as tears start to prick at my eyes from the frustration, and Billy notices this before his tone changes and he sighs heavily.

He brushes his hand through his blonde hair before he comes forward and surprisingly, pulls me into a hug, his strong arms fold over my shoulders and he presses my body into his.

'Well, you go missing and shit like this happens when I leave you alone, I just wanted to know you were alright, but this conversation isn't over' Billy sighs as he lets his hand run over my hair before he pulls away and tilts my face up so our eyes meet. His eyes scan over my face and lips, before he pulls his face closer to mine and presses his lips against mine, but the kiss is short lived before he turns on his heel and faces Max.

'You little shit' Billy hisses as he makes his way toward them, and I trail behind him quickly.

'You disobeyed me Max, and you know what happens when you disobey me, I break things' Billy says lowly before he collars Lucas and carries him over to the kitchen where he pushes him up against the cupboard.

'Billy stop it!' I shout as he pressed him hard against the cabinet, and I watch in horror as he refused to let Lucas go.

'I told you to stay away from her!' Billy shouts as he holds him up tighter, and Lucas continues to squirm before he knees Billy in the crotch, causing Billy to stumble back and Lucas to scramble onto his feet.

'You're dead Sinclair' Billy laughs out as he straightened back up, but Steve comes up behind him and twists him around.

'No, you are' Steve says before he punches Billy straight in the face.

Oh shit.
