It felt a little strange having Steve as my boyfriend, he would come over alot more and called me constantly, we were affectionate and he'd make sure everyone at school knew that we were a thing now, and over the time that passed I saw less of Billy. During school and at home, he just wasn't around and I didn't know where he would go to during our classes and during the day in general.

He would skip the classes we shared and I didn't see him in the hallways as much, even at his house, his camaro was never in the driveway and it was like he just dissapered. People were starting rumours and saying that he moved away because of me, but that was surely a lie. The Billy I know wouldn't have cared, and would stick around anyway in spite. But the Billy I knew was starting to change, he seemed more fragile now and I had a feeling his dad had something to do with it.

I endured the rest of the class with Steve by my side, who kept badgering me as I tried to scribble down my notes. He got to the point of annoying me where I had to stop, rip out a peice of paper from my book and throw it at him. But even then he didn't stop, he kept nagging me to come with him after school to his house. Of course his constant begging became unbearable so I said yes.

'Thank god it's finally Friday' I sigh out as we walk into the parking lot, and instantly a crowd cheering and cussing catches our attention, the commotion causes Steve and I to make a beeline toward the group, and I feel my throat tighten when I see who's having a fight.

Billy is currently standing infront of his camaro with some random, and their taking swings at each other, of course being more experienced in fighting, Billy grabs ahold of the guy and tackles him to the ground before he does his signature move, that unfortunately Steve had to experiance twice. Billy was on top of him, punching his face in constantly until blood was on his knuckles.

But miraculously the boy underneath him managed to throw Billy off, and shoved Billy to the ground before he punched Billy straight in the face. I winced and my hands tense as the boy begins to repeat what Billy had just done to him, expect his were harder. Blood drew from Billy's nose and lip as the guy on top of him continued to punch him in the face.

I could hardly watch as Billy started to lose concious and he began to black out, but the guy kept hitting him away and I felt my heart drop before I grabbed ahold of Steve's hand, causing him to turn to me.

'I have to help him, I'm sorry' I sigh out and Steve exhales heavily before nodding in an understanding way before helping me get this guy off of Billy. Steve grabs ahold of the guys shirt and he yanks him off of Billy, causing the crowd to complain and the guy to lash out at Steve, but Steve handled them and eventually they went away.

'Jesus, Billy' I mumble as I examine his badly bruised and bleeding face, he looked like shit I must admit and as much as I thought he deserved this, I couldn't let him get hurt badly. His eyes are wound shut mainly because their bruised badly, and because he was barely awake.

'We should leave him in the parking lot for the birds to peck at him' Steve says as he leans on Billy's car, and I look up and shoot him a glare before shaking my head.

'I can't leave him here, I should take him home, can you just help me put him in the car please?' I say to Steve who reluctantly comes over to help shift him, and we lift him toward his car before I reach into his pocket to unlock it. Steve carelessly shoves him into the passengers seat and shuts the door.

'I'll drive him home, but I can meet you at your place at eight?' I say trying to lighten the mood, and Steve peers into the car before sighing heavily and turning to me, he nods before pulling me into a hug.
