As soon as the words left my mouth, Billy seemed frozen. He stood in the doorway, his blue eyes stuck on my body as Max and I just stood there awkwardly waiting for a response. And since he looked like he wasn't going to give one, I started to talk.

'I asked Max to come over earlier, to help me with my room, and we got carried away. I hope you don't mind' I say politely and he shakes his head, before his hand comes up and brushes through his blonde hair.

'No, it's- it's fine' Billy mumbles as he turns to Max and gives her a glare before he nods to the inside of their house.

'Get inside' He barks causing Max to groan and turn to me to say goodbye. She nods at me and I do the same back before she pushes past Billy and runs inside with her skateboard. Billy steps out onto the porch and shuts the door behind him, I step back and lean against the railing.

'So, you broke her skateboard' I state bluntly and he scoffs before he pulls out a cigarette from his pocket and lights it, he takes a few drags while he looks me striaght in the eyes.

'She got on my nerves, the little shit deserved it' Billy mumbles as he moves foward and leans on the railing beside me. He blows out the grey clouds of smoke, and I watch as it dissolves into the night air.

'Don't take your anger out on Max and Susan, they don't deserve it' I say lowly causing Billy to chuckle deeply at my statement.

'You don't live with them' Billy mumbles.

'That doesn't matter. They don't want to experiance your anger Billy, and I don't want them to. What are you upset about?' I question softly, Billy chooses to ignore me, he just continues to smoke his cigarette, while his eyes are set on the front door.

'Billy-' I start but he cuts me off.

'Stop, you're not doing this to me. I'm not confessing shit to you, I meant every word I said the other day, and I mean it now. So just fück off' Billy snaps angrily, and just sigh heavily while rubbing my face with my hands, he was such a difficult person, but maybe leaving him alone was for the best.

'Leave Max and her mother alone Billy, just please listen to me on that' I say before walking down from his porch and making my way home, I could feel his piercing blue eyes watching me as I did, but I brushed him off and refused to look back at him.

'Don't tell me-' I start but end up rolling on Nancy's bed, laughing loudly at the item she pulls out of the bag. It was the hideous dress we found at the thrift store months ago, the same one we laughed at, and the same one that she was holding up now. She has a wide smile on her face as she waves it around.

'It isn't too bad, just don't stare at it for too long' She says as she looks at it but discards it back into the bag. She collapses on the space beside me and we stare up at the ceiling. Suddenly, her arm comes around my shoulders and she pulls me toward her.

'You could've told me about you and Billy you know' Nancy sighs out and I just pick at the hem of my shirt.

'I know I should've, but I never told you because I wasn't sure of how long it would last to be honest with you, the first time he referred to me as his girlfriend was infront of you, we just had a very complicated relationship' I say and Nancy tightens her grip around my shoulders.

'I understand, honestly I do. When I first started dating Steve, he was so confusing. His reputation was his main priority, and he sometimes let it get to him, but he came around in the end' Nancy says as she reminisces on the time she was actually in a relationship with Steve.

'Billy and Steve are totally different, Steve is a softie inside, Billy is just hard all over' I say and Nancy chuckles before removing her arm and sitting up, she grabs the bag infront of her and tips out the remnants.

'Let's forget about those boys, just pick out the tops you want' Nancy smiles warmly at me and I nod before sitting up and rummaging through them myself.

'The two of you girls are an excellent choice, as you know I am very close with both your mother's, and have heard a good amount of information of your behaviour, and as I did before with our student Micheal, I'll give you another student to introduce to Hawkins high, and really get warm him up to his classes and the students here' Our principal says as she introduces the guy sat in the chair infront of her desk, he looked seventeen or eighteen, and wore a small smile.

'Hi, I'm Aaron Smith' he greets while he reached out and shook both our hands, I gave him a polite smile.

'I'm Emilia' I say and he nods as Nancy introduces herself.

'Beautiful names' He compliments and Nancy and I look at each other with shy smiles on our faces.

'So, I'm assuming the two of you will take up the offer?' Our principal presses and I hesitate for a moment.

I remember the last time I showed a new student around with Nancy, and that ended with Billy getting pissed at me and forced me to quit on the job. But I wasn't with Billy anymore, he didn't have a say on who I talked to, Billy didn't have a say on this either.

'Sure, we'll take it' I respond with a smile on my face.
