Emilia

'Emilia, I can carry your books for you to the next class' Billy says as he waits beside my locker, watching as I pull out the books I need, and I just turn to him and press my hand on his chest. He gives me a small smile with hopeful eyes that I'll let him go through with his suggestion, but I decide to decline this time.

'I'm going to see you in two periods anyway' I say, a smile playing on my lips at how clingy he was being, I mean he's given me a ride to school two times, and within the two days of making an appearance as a couple, he literally acts like we're going to die if we separate.

'You can carry my bag after school or something' I say as I ignore his complaints and just press a quick kiss to his lips, but of course with him being Billy, he has to initiate a full on kiss, his hand slipping behind my neck and pressing my head down lightly, while his other hand sat on my hip.

The bell rings, and when he refuses to pull away, I bite his bottom lip causing him to hum into my mouth.

'God, that was hot' Billy says with a smug grin on his face, I roll my eyes before bidding my goodbyes.

'I'll drawl blood next time Hargrove' I laugh as I wave him off and make my way to my next class.

I had a good chat to Nancy about the ball that was coming up in a few months, if we got our timing right, the prices on the dresses would be discounted and we could get it for a cheaper price. And I had my eyes set on one paticular dress, it was so beautiful and elegant, and Nancy and I stumbled upon it as we walked past the stores.

It was literally calling my name when I stood outside of the store, my eyes peering at the fabric in awe, and since that day, I haven't had any other option for an outfit, that dress was going to be the one I would dance in at our ball. We arranged that we needed to go looking around for our outfits, but right now that was the least of my worries.

As I took a seat in Biology, dreading the fact that Jonothan hadn't shown up to school today, knowing fully well that Aaron, who I've been successfully avoiding since the disaster of a get together, shared the same class and hadn't gotten a chance to confront me about it since I'd always have someone beside me.

Now was the perfect opportunity for him to pounce at the vacant spot beside me, with his expensive and distasteful cologne, and that cocky rich boy smirk he always wore, one that unfortunately I must admit I once mistook for charming. Billy hadn't shown up to class yet, so I knew I was trapped now and I had to face the music.

'You completely ditched, what happened?' Aaron questions with his eyebrows furrowed and I have a guilty look on my face as I answer.

'I needed air, lots of it, so I left' I lie hopelessly and Aaron gives me a look, one that clearly showed he didn't believe me. I mean it wasn't the best lie, I must admit, it wasn't even close to sounding like one either.

'Okay fine, I left because it wasn't fun, I'm sorry Aaron' I apologize with a semi genuine sympathetic smile on my face, but Aaron doesn't seem to take it, he just folds his arms and leans back in the chair.

'Oh, so I'm not good enough, is that what you're saying?' Aaron questions defensively.

'No, I didn't say that at all' I say, looking around to notice the class was half full now, but still no sign of Billy. I felt like an idiot for not being able to handle him myself, but Aaron was hard to handle.

'But you're implying it' Aaron states and I give him an agitated look.

'I just said it wasn't fun, I didn't say you weren't good enough for my expectations' I argue.

'But in saying that you weren't having fun, that means you're implying that my entertainment wasn't good enough for you' Aaron states and I let out an irritated groan.

'Aaron, honestly what do you want from me?' I say as I turn to him, he shrugs before combing his fingers through his hair and flashing me a smirk.

'Another date' he states with a confident smirk on his face.

'No way, and the last time you said it was a date, it was the complete opposite' I say causing him to shrug carelessly.

'Well, I'm getting a second date regardless-' Aaron starts but he's cut off by Billy, who stands at the side of the table with a scowl on his face, Aaron is going to shit his pants, and I just wanted to sit back and watch it happen.

'A second date with my girlfriend? I shouldn't have even let the first what ever the fück you planned happen' Billy says prominently beside Aaron, enthisizing the specific word to show his dominance, and I could feel Aaron shiver as he turns to him.

'I-I didn't know you two-' Aaron stuttered as he quickly fell from the chair and scrambled to his feet, causing me to laugh discreetly into my sleeve and Billy to roll his eyes. Billy places a hand on Aaron's shoulder and he squeezes it hard, before he moves in closer to him, intimidating Aaron by the second.

'You even try anything else with her, I'll beat your ass' Billy mumbles to him and Aaron begins to shake and quiver under Billy's touch, and I watch a smug smile grow on Billy's face at the very sight.

'Say sorry for being an asshole' Billy says coolly as he grabs Aaron by his sweater and shoves him toward me, holding onto him as he did so, and I tried to hide the smirk on my face.

'S-sorry Emilia' Aaron stuttered out.

'For..' Billy trails off, his voice raspy as he dragged on the word.

'B-being an asshole' Aaron stuttered out before Billy pulled him back and pushed him away from the desks, and I watch as Aaron scrambles to his desk and avoids all contact with our side of the room.

'You're a life saver' I say as Billy takes the seat beside me, bringing my seat closer to his while he slung his arm behind my chair.

'He won't bother you anymore, if you want I can jump him after school-' Billy suggests and I decline the offer straight away.

'That's not necessary, I'm sure the warning you just gave him is enough for him to keep away' I say followed by a laugh, and Billy smiles gingerly at me before he kisses my temple.

'I could get used to this body gaurd thing' I sigh out as a grin spreads across my face.
