The restaurant was known for its exquisite food and fancy aroma where rich business men and women spent their evenings spending ridiculous amounts of money on a small meal. It's was a place of luxury and I felt out of place when we stepped into its glass doors that gleamed of cleanliness, straight away greeted by waiters in smart suits smiling enthusiastically as they showed us the way to our table.

There sat Damien, his hair combed back and the tuxedo  he wore was black, sharp looking and well fitted. Exactly the sort of thing a high classed woman would pick out for her man to wear in this luxurious restaurant. It fit well, made him look sexy as the tux was exquisitely cut and a perfect match for his suave manners. I hadn't realized I was holding my breath until we reached the table where he stood up greeting us with a charming smile his eyes lingered down my body, a little to long before he cleared his throat.

"I'm so glad you guys made it, you look beautiful Zara", he leaned in giving me a peck on the cheek which made my cheeks instantly flame when I turned to look at Daniels unimpressed face.

"So, where's your date?" Daniel said cutting to the chase his voice sounded monotone pulling my seat out for me to sit down on.

"She's in the ladies room, I can't wait for you guys to meet her, although I'm pretty sure you have met her before Zara", he grinned mischievously and at that very moment I had a sick gut feeling something bad was going to happen.

"I've met her before?", I replied raising my eyebrow as I searched my mind for any encounters I may of had with Damien and this mystery girl but nothing came to my mind.

"Yeah don't worry. You'll see her soon enough", he smiled before picking up the menu and skimming through the pages.

"Uhm okay... So how have you been?", I said smiling trying to ignore this weird gut feeling in my stomach.

"I've been good, but busy with dance practices and exams", his eyes travelled uneasily scanning the room. I couldn't help but notice that they sparkled every time he moved them. His eyes were just such a beautiful emerald green colour, one that seemed to draw you into transfixing you. My heart pumped loudly as he focused on me, smiling. That very smile made my heart flutter in my chest and I blushed. I hated the fact he could make me feel things with just that a look, I hated the fact I was anxious to see this mystery girl and why he had chosen her for this date.

"There you are", Damien's eyes flashed excitedly grinning as he looked up staring eagerly behind me. I wanted to spin around quickly and see who this girl that made him so damn excited was. A hint of jealousy intruded my mind as she walked towards Damien placing a kiss on his cheek.

"Sorry babe. You know a girls gotta use the bathroom", she then turned to me flashing a perfect smile as my heart stopped for a moment I froze trying to comprehend the situation. Her beautiful blonde hair fell on her shoulders perfectly curled in ringlets and her blue eyes creased slightly amused a small smirk formed on the side of her perfectly glossed lip.

"Hello, Zara. It's been a while, hasn't it?", she spoke.

The only words I could muster up looking dumbfounded as ever were;

"Katie?"

"Katie?"
