Chapter 15- The talk

"So we need to have a talk", I said crossing my arms as I raised an eyebrow at Daniel trying to be serious but was holding back a smile as he stopped playing his xbox looking confused as ever.

"A talk?", he said these words slowly as thought he was trying to understand what they meant.

"Yes, Dan. 'The talk'", I said keeping a straight face as he put his xbox control down and sat up straight.

"Okay you're scaring me, are you pregnant", he said again, speaking very slowly as his face blushed a bright pink. It was honestly adorable as a grin broke out my face.

"Not yet, handsome",I winked at him as he drew a breath.

"Oh thank god, I don't think I'm ready to be a father yet", he said scratching his head embarrassed as ever.

"The same games to me", I laughed but paused before continuing, "Okay look after everything that happened and our whole misunderstanding I want to explain some situations but first of all, do you remmeber telling me something last night?", I said looking at him curiously.

"Ehh well my memory is kind of fuzzed I was drunk, pissed off and upset", he said looking embarrassed.

"Yeah but you told me something... Don't you remember", I said slowly.

"What that I loved you?", he said and this time it was my turn to blush as I made eye contact with him. He scratched his blonde hair and smiled at me sheepishly, he looked so adorable and sexy at the same time I was so confused at how it was possible to be this attractive... Just like someone else I knew..

"Uh... so you do remmeber", I said not feeling that confident enough to continue the conversation".

"Well I know I was drunk but I meant it you know", he said shyly.

"I really do love you Zara, you drive me crazy but you also keep me on my feet", he said looking at me with intensity as my heart beat fast.

I was silent as I looked at him pretty much gaping because I knew I felt the same way but what had me confused was the fact I felt the same for two different people.

"I... uhhh..", I literally was speechless and probably looked like stupid as I continued to look at him.

"You don't need to say it back I'm just telling you how I feel", he said blushing as I looked at him and moved in to give him a hug. He pulled me closer, closing the space between us as I hugged him tightly.

I really needed to sort myself out.

"Anyways", he cleared his throat before pulling away and continuing, " What was these situations you needed to talk to me about?"

"Okay well yesterday when I was speaking to Damien", I paused as I saw a frown appear on Daniels face at the name but ignored it and continued, " I decided to be better to move on and let what he did to me change me. I turned into something I hated and despised and I want to better. I know you may not understand or want me to talk to him but I've decided to try to start over with him, not in at romantic way but a friends way.. I still haven't forgiven him but I'm going got try. I just want you to understand where I'm coming from and support me",I drew my breath as I looked him in silence.

Daniel was silent as though thinking about everything I had just told him before he nodded and looked at me smiling, "If that's what made you happy then I'm okay with it. Just be careful Z", he said and this is why I knew I loved him. I leaned in and pulled him into a passionate kiss as he pulled me onto his lap.

I was glad we had, had this talk. It was time to start over, again.
