Chapter 47- Masquerade Party

I sat in front of the mirror curling the ends of my hair until I had curled them to perfection. Then I started to put on my makeup, as the makeup artists said; I began baking my face and contouring. I had gotten quite good at it to be honest but I never really put this much effort on my face unless it was a special occasion. — Today felt like it was.

I put some smokey black eye on my lids then added a pair of falsies — false eyelashes to the newbs who don't know this. I settled for Fenty beauty lipgloss for my lips and some highlighter for my cheeks and I was finally done. It was time to put on the expensive dress so I pulled it up and strugglingly tried to zip myself up. After maybe 15 minutes later I finally managed to get the zip up breathing a sigh of relief.

I put a silver choker necklace on as jewellery and some simple silver studded earrings before placing my hair to the side and brushing it out slightly.

I was done and I approved when I looked in the mirror admiring my self reflection and how the dress looked sexy but classy and sophisticated at the same time. It hug all my curves and gave me the perfect hour glass shape. I smiled grabbing my phone, silver clutch, masquerade mask and heels leaving my room.

Oh perfume don't forget the perfume. Going back I quickly sprayed myself with some delicious body spray and perfume. Okay now I'm done. It was perfect timing because my phone pinged and when I checked it, it was Natalie telling me to come down because the car was ready.

We'd be going together, like old times. Maybe finally everything would be okay.

I stepped towards the black Porsche where a guy opened the door for me — fancy. I got in to see Natalie happily grinning at me she looked stunning in her long black dress. I turned my head realising that sitting next to her was Sean.

"Oh hey, wow you both look so good", I'm surprised about them being together but I'm trying not to show it.

"Thank you girl but we all know you're going to make heads turn today", Natalie giggled but she seemed nervous.

"Hahah thanks hun. Okay just spill it out, y'all are back together aren't you?" I asked I couldn't help the smile on my face.

"How did you know?", they both blurted out surprised obviously.

Well it's obvious I mean...

"Call it a best friends intuition. I won't ask any more questions I'm just glad the three musketeers are back together", it's true I'm so happy right now and i guess they could tell from the stupid grin on my face.

"Alright besties, it's time to get drunk make dumb decisions and just have fun", she says as she opens the champagne bottle and fills the plastic cups before handing them to us.

"I'll drink to that", Sean laughs as he moves forward kissing the tip of Natalie's nose which makes her blush.

"Agreed but also, a toast to friendship and new beginnings", I say raising my glass up as we all clink them together and laugh before downing them down.

We had finally arrived and boy had they gone all out with this party, they literally rented out a ballroom and it was decorated beautifully. We all put our masks on and walk inside. To get to the actual ball room we have to go down some stairs where everyone would see you make your way down — if they even noticed.
