Chapter ~12~

Justin's pov:

It's the next morning and I walk into school. The cold air from outside releasing from my body as I step into the building. I'm nervous today. Things with Raegan have been good. Too good? If that sense. Knowing my luck, it's not going to last.

I walk myself to first period alone. Madison and James have been getting along very well. Not like dating, but like best friends. Madison doesn't talk to me a lot anymore. It's mostly just James on her mind now. Maybe she likes him. But he's gay? Eh I don't know.

"Justin?" My arm gets pulled and I get pulled to the side of the hallway. It's Raegan.

"Hey Rae." I smile a little. He smiles back. He takes my hand and we go into an empty classroom and he shuts the door.

"What's up?" I ask.

"Listen, I'm so sorry about my dad last night. I felt so bad after you left."

"Oh, it's okay. I'm used to all of that."

"But, my dad. I didn't like that." He said getting closer to me.

"Don't worry. Really."

He nods a little and puts his right hand on my hip. His other comes up and rests on my jaw. He goes in quick and kisses my lips. I kiss back and put both of my hands on his face. I love this feeling. But something doesn't feel right?

"Rae?" I ask pulling away.

"What's wrong?" He asks.

"I don't like doing this." I say.

"What do you mean?"

"Us. Sneaking around. Having to talk in a room with no one in it. I don't like hiding."

"Well, people will say stuff."

"Obviously. But you got to learn to not care what people think. You're embarressed to be my friend. Imagine what people would think if they knew we kiss."

"Justin its not like that."

"Them what it is like Raegan? Please tell me. Because the way I see it, you don't want to be around me when there are people around."

"It's just- my friends, other kids-"

"Raegan I don't care what other people say. But you care so much. You're Raegan Beast. No one would ever think he hang with me. No. Never. So don't Rae. Just don't. Because I'm not going to be a secret. For all I know I'm just a makeout buddie for you."

"You're not Jay. I do like you. Please just give it time."

"What's 'it'? Us? What are we?" I ask.

"I-im not a toy. It's either me or not me?" I add on. He doesn't answer.

I walk past him and open the classroom door. I make my way to my first period, taking my time.

~Lunch~

I sit down by myself in the corner the lunch room. I feel like I sounded really desperate before with Raegan. Does he even want to date me? I'm not a fuck buddie for him. I'm not going to keep kissing him if we aren't going to date. I feel used. I feel like he doesn't care. Does he? Could the Fuckboy of the school care about a loser like me?

"Hey Jay." Madison and James greet me as they sit down across from me.

"Hi." I say to them. Raegan, Jason, and Brad walk in after I say that. They talk to their usual table with a few of his other friends. And a lot of girls. Of course.

"So what's been going on blake?" Madison asks.

"You wouldn't know. Huh?"

"What?" She asks confused. James looks to me wierd also.

"You two have surely been spending a lot of time together. There has been a lot going on and it doesn't seem you two care."

"We just don't see you a lot anymore." James says.

"And why is that? It's because you two spend every minute together."

"Well we're sorry that you've been spending so much time with Raegan. That's why James and I spend a lot of time together. Because now you are all over Raegan."

"But, you two used to ask me all the time how I was doing. Now I talk to you guys like twice a week." I tell them.

"Because you're with Raegan now, all the time. After school and on the weekends. It's not our fault."

They both look at each other and get up from the table.

"Wait guys."

"You can come talk to us when you actually want to." James says and they walk away. Fuck this day is not going good. My phone dings and I check it.

Raegan: What happened with you guys?

Me: Nothing.

Raegan: I know something happened. Let's go talk in the hallway.

Me: No. If you want to talk, come to me right now.

I send that and looked up. I looked at him and he was just staring at his phone. But not typing anything.

Me: Exactly.

I drop my phone on the table and wait for the bell to ring. I just want to go home.

~End of the day~

The dismissal bell rang and I've never gotten up out of my seat so fast. I rush to my locker but on my way, I see Madison and James.

"Guys?" I walk in front of them. They both look at me.

"What's up?"

"I'm sorry about before. You two are my best friends. Please forgive me, I was just being stupid before."

They both look at each other and smile, looking back at me.

"Its okay Jay." James says. Madison nods. I hug them both.

"But when you hang with Raegan, don't expect us to not hang out."

"That's fine. I love you guys." I smile.

"We love you too Blake." They smile back at me. We say our goodbyes and I get to my locker. I open it put some books away I don't need. I close it and turn around.

Next thing I know, I get pushed to the ground. I fall on my back and get the wind knocked out of me a little. That was a hard ass push. I roll myself over and just see Jason, Brad, and Raegan. No one else. Everyone else left.

"What's up little girl?" Brad laughs. Jason laughs with him. Raegan is behind them a little. They look back at him and he laughs too.

"Leave me alone." I say getting up. Jason pins me against the lockers by my shirt and slams me against them multiple times.

"Fucking stop!" I yell. He stops and let's me down.

"Just leave me the hell alone!" I yell at him. Brad comes beside Jason and pushes me against the lockers again.

"Come here Rae." Brad says. Raegan has been distant this whole time. He hasn't done anything. He gets closer and looks straight at me. He has a very serious face on.

"Little tranny." He chuckles.

"Are you fucking serious right now Raegan?"

"Yea. That's what you are." He smirks. Oh my god.

"You know what. I'm done. Im fucking done!" I push away from them and walk to the exit of the school. I look back and see them all laughing. Wow.
