Chapter ~29~

Justin's pov:

Monday night. I'm laying in bed alone. It's only 6 o'clock and I really want Raegan over. But he's with his parents at a restaurant. I told him to come over if he can when he's done. But I didn't tell him why... I don't care what time or if my dad dissagree. I just really need to see him.

I get out of bed and walk to the bathroom. I hesitate but walk in front of the mirror and see my face. My lips quiver as I lean forward, leaning my pamps on the sink. First, the clear red hand mark is visible on my cheek. Then, I turn around and lift up my shirt, revealing the big bruise going across my back. My cheek doesn't hurt anymore and the red mark will go away. But my back hurts like a bitch.

I got home from school, walking in the front door as happy as can be because of what happened today. I walked to the kitchen and my dad was sitting at the table. He looked at me with anger and disgust. He got up from the table and got in my face. He's taller than me. I looked to the side, downward in fear.

So, apparently the school called my dad and told him what Raegan did. The principle is happy he came out so he called my dad and Raegan's family too. I'm not sure how they reacted but I'm guessing fine because they are out to dinner. My dad explained what the principle told him yelling in my face. He's never been supporting of me and he was mad. He didn't want me dating Raegan. Or any boy. He called me names and threatened me.

I quickly tried to walk away from him. Before I could get up the stairs he yanked my arm towards him. I yelped and tried not to cry. He yelled in my face again and I didn't say anything. I was scared of what he would do to me. Finally, he told me to say anything but I shook my head.  I started crying. He slapped me across the face hard and that's how the red mark is there. Then he pushed me back forcefully and my back went into the stairs, like the railing part. That's how I have that big ass bruise.

It was horrible. He never hurt me that bad. I'm hurt and upset. My own father. Why? That's why I want Raegan here. I need his comfort. I walk out of the bathroom and carefully get on my bed making sure not to hurt my back. I see I got a text on my phone.

Baby💘: On my way babe 😘

I smile and walk out of my room, down the stairs gently. I don't see my dad anywhere in sight. Ok I just need to get Raegan as fast as I can and into my room.  A few minutes later I see his car. He gets out and walks to my front foor. He sees me and just opens the door smiling.

"Come upstairs, quick." I grab his hand. He doesn't question and follows me upstairs. We get into my room and I take a deep breathe.

"What's wrong?" He asks. My eyes water as I look at him. I hate my dad.

"And-" He stops and comes closer to me lifting my head enough so he can see my face. "What happened to your cheek?" He asks rubbing his thumb over it. Tears fall from my eyes onto my face.

"Baby?" He asks quietly.

"M-my dad...hit me." I say, my voice cracking.

"Why?" He walks over to my bed, pulling me with him carefully. We sit on the edge of my bed and he rubs my back. It hurts like hell because of that bruise though.

"Ow." I hiss in pain. He yanks his hand  away and scoots over a little away from me.

"Justin, stand up." He tells me. I stand up slowly and so does he. He turns me around and lifts up my shirt. He gasps and pulls my whole shirt off.

"Justin what-" He starts to yell but I cover his mouth.

"Shh." I shush him trying to stop crying. My back hurts to bad.

"What the fuck did he do?" He asks quieter.

"He pushed me into the railing of the stairs. I-it hurts so bad baby." I whine to him. He looks a little panniced.

"Ok ok. Sit down on the bed."

~20 minutes later~

"Thank you." I tell him carefully sitting at the head of my bed.

"Of course. Does it feel better?" He asks. I nod. He put some medicine I had in my bathroom on my back. It stung like hell at first but then got better. He then put some wrapping around my body so it wouldn't hurt as much when I sleep.

"I don't ever want to see him again. I don't know why he can't accept me. I love you and I don't want him to seperate us." I rant to him. He kisses me gently to shut me up. We kiss slowly, little pecks. He pulls away and puts our forheard together. My breathing is shaky.

"No one is ever going to seperate us baby boy. I love you. And as long as I do, nothing's going to happen to us." He reassures me. I smile at him.

*knock knock*

"Shit. Go go!" I whisper yell to him. I push him into my closet and close the door.

"Come in." I jump on my bed and pretend to be on my phone. He comes in.

"What?" I ask. No emotion in my voice.

"Dinner. Come on." He says.

"No. I'm good." Im speaking very little to him on purpose.

"You got to eat Justin. Dinner now."

"No dad, I'm not hungry." Even though I am.

"Stop being a baby." He comes more into my room.

"Get out. I'm fine." I raise my voice.

"Justin I said dinner." His loud deep voice echoes in my head. I shake my head 'no'.

He walks over to my bed and pulls my arm. I scream trying to get away from him. I see Raegan get out of the closet and pull my dad away. He shoves him to the ground and grabs me. We run downstairs and out of the house like lightening. We both get into his car and he starts driving. I'm crying my eyes out. Raegan's eyes are watery. He holds my hand and squeezes it.

~Raegan's house~

We arrive at Rae's house. He gets out and comes over to open my door. We go inside and tells me to go upstairs to his room. I hear him start talking to his mom as I go to his room. I get to it and go right over to the closet. I take off my short sleeve shirt and take one of his hoodies. He won't mind. I put it on and lay on his bed. I grabbed my phone at the last second thank God.

A few minutes later his bedroom door opens. He comes in and walks over to the bed. He kisses my forhead and holds my hand.

"My mom said you can stay here for as long as you need. I know your mom will probably take you back home soon but just in case." He says. I lean up on his bed and get on his lap. I wrap my arms around his neck and he gently hugs my waist.

"Thank you Raegan. Thank you for getting me out of that house. Thank you for taking me here. Thank you for being in my life and sticking with me."

"Baby I would do anything for you. I love you."

"I love you too Rae."
