Chapter ~22~

Justin's pov:

I've been sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours. It's been boring but my mom brought me taco bell and a phone charger. So I've been eating my taco bell little by little and playing on my phone. Biting my nails is something I've also been doing because I'm so nervous. I'm praying he's okay. I love him so much.

"Justin?" The nurse comes from the hallway.

"Yes?"

"Raegan should be waking up soon. Would you like to come in his room?"

"Yes please." I get up off the chair and follow her to a different room then Raegan was originally in. I see him on the hospital bed with a cast on his foot, sleeping.

"Did it go well?" I ask her.

"He did great." She smiles. I walk over  to him and bring a chair to the side of his bed. I grab and hold his hand gently so I don't wake him up. I don't mind waiting if it means him getting a little rest.

A few minutes later I look up from my phone and see waking up.

"Rae?" He turns his head and looks at me.

"Hey." He says quietly. He looks down at our hands and smiles.

"Its over love. You did it." I say and kiss him. He nods.

"I did it for you." I love him so much.

"Can you go to school tomorrow?" I ask.

"I'm not sure. My shoulder is bad shape and I need crutches for my foot. And I don't think I can hold myself up with the crutches because of my shoulder."

"So you can't walk?"

"I don't really think I can right now." He says. My eyes gloss over with tears...

"Hey? What's wrong?" He asks squeezing my hand. I look up at him.

"I just feel terrible. I feel like it's my fault."

"It's everything but the fault baby boy. I was just being stupid." I love that nickname so much.

"Yea, a little." We both giggle as I say that. Then it gets silent.

"Why don't you go do something today with Madison and James."

Oh shit. I told her I would be there at 2 to to take James out. It's 2:15.

"Actually I told Madison I would help her with something today. You don't mind me leaving?"

"Of course not. I'm probably going to sleep all day anyway."

"Ok, I'll be back later though. I love you."

"I love you more." He smiles. I kiss his lips gently before letting go of his hand. I walk to the door and leave his room quietly. I take my phone out.

Me: Sorry I'm running a little late. Be there in 10 minutes Mads.

~At Madison's house~

"Hey Blake." I walk in and she hugs me. I hug her back.

"Hey Mads." We walk over to the couch and I see James.

"Justin." He stands up and hugs me also. I giggle and hug him back also.

"How are you guys?" I ask.

"Great." James pulls Madison against her by her waist and kisses her. James is taller then Mads so it's cute.

"Aww." I laugh. They smile at me then at each other.

"So what happened with Raegan?"

"Long story short, he got drunk and decided to drive home. He got in an accident and hurt his shoulder and foot. He just got surgery on it and it went good."

"Damn." Madison says.

"Yeah."

"So what's been happening?"

"We've been uh...kissing, a lot."

"Oooo. Are you dating?" They both ask.

"Not yet. He has to come out to the school first."

"He will." Madison smirks. "Anything else?"

"We also said 'I love you'."

"Oh my god." Madison's jaw drops. James just looks surprised.

"You love him? He loves you? Ahhh!" She yells.

"Yea." I rub the back of my neck. Talking about him makes me get all blushy.

"Aww Justin I'm so happy for you." James says.

"Yea, he's a nice guy really." Madison adds.

"Yea he is." I smile. Then it gets quiet. Madison seems to have something click in her brain by her facial expression.

"Well babe, Justin wants to take you out somewhere." Oh I forgot that's why I'm here.

"Are you coming?" He asks.

"Uh, no. I can't." She seems nervous. I try not to laugh.

"Baby why not." He whines.

"Because I can't. And Justin wants to spend some time with just you. So you two have fun and I'll see you later." She pushes us near the door in a joking way.

"Ok ok. See you later baby." He kisses her.

"Bye guys." We walk out and she shuts the door.

"What was that about?"

"She's just crazy." I laugh as we get in her car.

So I took James to a few stories and then we went out to eat. It was fun. Madison texted me and said I can take him back to her house now. So I am. It's been a good hour and a half.

We get back to her house and get out of the car.

"I had fun Justin." He says.

"Me too." I nod. We walk inside and I close the door behind me.

"Babe?" James yells. We walk into the house a little more, no sign of her.

"Madi-" I stop myself when I see her walking down the stairs in a beautiful, baby blue, short dress. Not too short, like mid thigh. Wow she's so pretty.

"Woah." James says looking at her. I giggle. She comes all the way down and kisses him.

"Well, you two have fun. I'll see you guys later." I tell them.

"Thank you Justin for taking him out." Midison says.

"Ohhh I get it now." James laughs.

"Bye guys." I leave, shutting the door behind me.

I have a great idea. Get some cute little presents and surprise Rae :)
