I smiled at Gene's message. After the arguments and misunderstanding that we had, Gene makes sure that I won't feel taken for granted. She always tells me her whereabouts even if I don't ask her.
I trust Gene. I know in myself that I trust her. But it doesn't mean I won't feel jealousy or insecurity. Of course, there are times I feel like that. Everytime I'm in the verge of losing my confidence, I always think about how Gene made me feel loved and complete.
It's okay Gene. I also have an appointment today. See you later. I love you, too.
I parked my car on the designated parking area outside the villa where the wedding I was invited will be held. The flowers used for the wedding came from our shop that's why we were invited. The maid of honor together with the wedding planner personally dropped by at our shop to ask for our service.
They'll have a wedding garden and the venue is set up wonderfully amazing. From the white carpet to the white flowers almost everywhere, everything's so pure and clean. One can assume that the wedding's motif was white.
I roamed my eyes around and saw Vannah glaring at me. Yes, she's also here since she has been throwing rocks and everything to me eversince she has learned about me and Gene. Vannah has been acting high and almighty on the shop that's why she's also here. Anyways, she's also a boss so I just kept my mouth shut.
Everybody got seated as the host announced that the wedding will start anytime soon. Few minutes after, the bride walked down the aisle together with her parents and happiness on her eyes as shown on her smiles and tears.
I didn't know what got into me but I became so emotional as the ceremony went on. I've cried as the bride and the groom exchanged their vows with tears on their eyes that symbolizes happiness. I imagine myself,
wearing a white wedding dress and walking towards the person I vow to love for the rest of my life.
Gene...
I wiped my tears and clapped my hands as the ceremony ended. The reception will be held in the same villa, only that it will be inside a function hall.
"Getting emotional, huh?"
That's Vannah. Sinabayan niya ako sa paglalakad as people went their way for the reception.
Hindi ko nalang siya pinansin at sumunod nalang sa mga tao. The reception program went well, as well. Bakas ang kasiyahan sa mukha ng bawat isa, lalo na sa mukha ng mga ikinasal.
Buffet style ang reception kaya mas lalong nakakaengganyo sa mga bisita. I wa seated on a table together with the groom's visitor. Of course, katabi ko si Vannah. I stood to fish for something to eat.
Mas lalo akong natakam nang may makita akong sugpo. I eagerly got the biggest one but someone stopped me from doing so.
"It's mine."
Vannah glared at me, showing no intention of backing off. Hindi ko napansing tumayo din siya ng table at sumunod pa sa kung nasaan ako.
"Nauna ako dito Vannah. Marami pang iba, bakit hindi ka kumuha doon?"
"I want this piece so you better back off before we create a scene here."
It felt like Vannah's pointing out something more than the food in our front. May laman ang sinasabi niya at alam ko kung ano yun.
