Mitch seems a lot better than 10 minutes ago. He seems less stressed, but a little.....off. Is he drunk?

Ugh! That's probably what he was drinking. Alcohol. But why?

Should I ask him?

I'm not sure. People sometimes say really stupid stuff when drunk. But people also say what's really on their mind when drunk. Would that be considered invading someone's privacy since they can't really control their actions when drunk?

Oh I don't know what to do. But if something's bothering him, he probably won't tell me when he's sober.

I really don't wanna do this, but here goes nothing.

"Hey Mitch." God I'm nervous.

"Oh hey. Can you get me shed cheese pwetty pwease?"

"You mean shredded cheese?"

"Yeah. Shed cheese." His words slightly slurred.

"Right. Okay."

I went to the fridge and got some cheese and started to shred it.

Might as well start asking while o do this.

"So Mitch. You feelin' alright?"

"Yeah *hic* Why would I not be *hic* fine....um....person. Who are you?"

Oh my God. It's been 15 minutes. How much did he drink?

"I'm Y/n. Ya know. Your roommate and friend." I said while I handed him a plate of shredded cheese.

"Oh hi Y/n!" He yelled while waving his hands like a child.

"Yeah. Hi Mitch. Here's the cheese." I said since he hasn't taken it yet.

"Oh thank you." He said while eating.

"So. Why'd you decide to drink?"

"Oh. Well I was stressing out." He took a sip of alcohol that was next to him.

"Well what were you stressing about?"

Please tell me. I really wanna know!

"Okay. But you can't tell y/n."

Didn't I tell you I was y/n?

"Okay I wont tell."

This feels wrong.

"Well she left to talk to her ex Dabota or something."

Hehe. 'Dabota'.

"Then I felt jealous. But *hic* there's nothing to be *hic* jealous about. She broke up with him. So why *hic* am I feeling like this?" He took a giant sip of whatever alcohol he was drinking.

"I think *hic* I like.... "
