~Hiccup~

It's been a few weeks since the fishermen spotted the boat. They haven't seen it again. It makes me feel at ease but at the same time I feel concerned. If they weren't here to attack then why were they here?

My nightmares are getting worse each night. I can see that it's worrying Astrid. But there isn't anything either one of us can help me. I just have to suffer through them.

It's my free day off. It's almost Snoggletog, which means no dragons, and lots of snow. It hasn't snowed yet, but I can tell it's coming.

Astrid and I are sitting by the fire in our hut. She's messing with my long hair.

"Hiccup, as much as I like braiding your hair, you need to cut it," Astrid says.

"I know. But I can't do it on my own. You can do it whenever you like," I say.

She smiles. "Do you know what's coming up?" Astrid asks.

"Snoggletog?"

"No."

"My birthday?"

"No."

"Your birthday?"

"No," Astrid says more irritated.

"Well if it isn't Snoggletog, mine or yours birthdays, what could it be? Is it our anniversary?"

"Ding ding ding ding! We have a winner! Are we going to do anything special?"

"I don't know yet. You'll just have to wait and find out," I say.

"Well you better figure out soon."

"I don't know. Maybe we'll just stay in for the holiday. It looks like it's going to get bad really quick. Plus the dragons will be leaving soon. We haven't spent a Snoggletog with either of our families because we were gone last year for our anniversary, maybe we should spend it with family?"

"You're probably right."

"But please whatever you do, don't make yaknog."

"Why?"

"Astrid. It's time I tell you about your yaknog."
